The Fold-A-Way Butcher Block Table allows you to have one or two leaves in the open position. With one leaf open you have three square feet of top space for single dining/utility. With two leaves open you have almost six square feet of top working space, or enough space for a comfortable dinner for two. When closed, the two-drop leaves and the swing leg assemblies fold into a 5 1/2" base. Against the wall the unit takes up only ten inches of outward space.
Products offered by Catskill Craftsmen are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily birch and hard rock maple. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. Catskill Craftsmen operations generate no wood waste.

Good table, small footprint

The table, constructed of solid butcher's block wood, would be useful either for food preparation or for eating. It folds up into a small footprint, making it great for small kitchens. Assembly is not difficult, but may take up to an hour to complete.

Assembly of the table was moderately difficult, but the wooden plugs provided to cover up the screw holes did not all fit! Some needed serious pounding to seat them properly!

I bought an earlier version of this table many years ago. This improved style allows you to lower one leaf and leave one open (my other table only allowed closing both leaves at once). It is very well made and fits nicely on our enclosed small porch. Catskill Craftsmen make wonderful products. Initially I oil the table every week for 4-6 weeks and then only occasionally when it needs it. It turns a gorgeous honey color over time. I highly recommend this product. It required some assembly, but it was very easy.
