Works well

This arrived broken. The plastic cover is cracked on one side so that one side of the locking mechanism won't lock. We live out in the middle of the pacific - hard and expensive to send back so I will live with it. I have to say Cooking.com packed this very, very nicely. It clearly arrived in the box to Cooking.com broken already. Despite this issue the it performed very well. I used it this week to bring 24 cupcakes to my sons classroom. There are no cars on our island so we have to ride bikes (which was the reason I needed it - it is easy to lose, break or crush things in the bike basket!). So - with only one side of the cover lock working this still did a great job.

Cupcake Carrying Case Price

I recently received the Cupcake carrying case, the product is great. However, on the box the carrier came in, it had a price tag from another store Linen n Things and priced at 19.99. Very disappointed that I was charged $29.95 for the same item.

I love the idea that I can now carry 24 cupcakes wherever I need to go in a nice covered carrier, but I was a little disappointed in the top rack in that it is flimsy plastic, and I did wonder how it would support the weight of a dozen frosted cupcakes. The upper level cupcakes didn't touch the lower cupcakes though, so that was good. But, there is an indentation on the top cover where the handle is, and that does touch the cupcakes on the upper rack, so there was frosting on the lid and the inner cupcakes on the upper level were smooshed a little before I got where I needed to be with my cupcakes. But the lower pan is a very nice non-stick pan. The lid snaps on to the lower pan handles on each side, and the snaps are plastic as well so I do wonder how long they will last before they break as they seem a little flimsy too. But even knowing what I know about this purchase, I think I'd still buy it again as it is a very nice way to carry 2 dozen cupcakes somewhere...

This is terrific

Cupcakes at the office have become a big deal lately so I needed something to make transportation a little easier. I looked at all types of carriers and picked this one. The bottom carrier is also a baking tray so that's a plus. There is plenty of room between layers so that the frosting does not get smooshed, except where the handle is, but even that is marginal. Very sturdy construction and very easy to clean. Both pluses in my book. If you are toting cupcakes around often, this is a must have.

Price Discrepancy

Although I paid $29.99 for the cupcake carrier which I love, it arrived with a $19.99 price sticker.

No complaints. I only have good things to say about it! It blows the Tupperware version away!

I love this cupcake carrying case so much that when my sister saw it she asked me to please get it for her birthday.
My coworkers sure love it since I bring in cupcakes more often. I have seen similar carrying cases that cost so much more and this one is more solid. (No sliding whatsoever).

cupcake carrying case

This has been fabulous. Have used it for the soccer games (for cupcakes when it was my daughter's bday), and for multiple school parties. You do have to be careful w/the icing to make sure that it's not too high. I just tested it first.

Portable cupcakes

I like the design. My cupcakes do not move or slide around. It has a good locking mechanism Since I do not use non-stick, I will not be using the pan to bake. I brought it for transporting cupcakes to work and to potluck meals. I paid too much for it as they had it on Amazon for only $19.95.

Nice design, poorly made

There was so much promise with this, but it hasn't even lasted a week. The lid was bumped off the kitchen table and cracked from the locking handle to the upper corner. The locking handle now falls out of its hole in the lid. If Oneida had only used a more rubbery plastic instead of the brittle kind, this would have a 5 star rating. For the price, I'd expect something that could survive school functions and parties and last a long time. Not something that shatters at a 3 foot fall.

Ingenius Contraption!

I love this thing! It snaps together in a really cool way and keeps the cupcakes from getting "smooshed." I really like how there is enough room between the two layers so the decorations stay untouched.

I am so happy I purchased this case .. I always had to throw away my cupcakes after just 2-3 days before.. with the case I can keep them fresher much longer.. and it is so easy to bring to my sons school..!!!

It's about time!`

Finally, someone came up with a much-needed idea of transporting cupcakes without a disaster happening when you turn a corner in the car. I loved this so much I sent one to my niece who bakes for her three little girls, church, and elementary school. She is thrilled to finally have something like this cupcake tote. Plus, it keeps them fresh so they can be made ahead of time without getting stale. Kudos to the inventor of this neat product.

Great carrying case!

This is a great carrying case to take cupcakes to school or parties. No more smudged frosting and the cakes stay put. Nice to have the 24 count, many are just for a dozen. I am glad that I searched around at different websites...this product seems to win over the others I looked at!
