DELICIOUS-but won't make a gallon
I want to start out by saying that I am addicted to the passion tea at Starbucks, so of course being able to make it at home is amazing.
Also, as some of you may notice, Starbucks is now adding water to the cup and thus diluting the taste, at least thats what i think.
I was told by a starbucks employee to order it "full-strength" no water. So I do. Maybe some people dont like it full strength.
That brings me to my review..and you will decide on the value of my review based on your taste buds.
I've gone thru 8 tea bags now and i must say..THEY DON'T MAKE A GALLON.
I started following the directions and began with 1 tea bag and 1 gallon (steeping 1/2 gallon to make a "concentrate" then pouring it into a 1/2 gallon of cold water) as they say to do.
Watered down flavor.
Each time I have decreased the water and increased the steeping time.
The best batch i have made so far were my 7th and 8th bag. I steeped 2 bags in 64 oz water for 10 minutes to make the concentrate..and added it to 64oz of cold water.
So for me , I would say these bags make 1/2 gallon of Tea each...so use 2 to make a gallon.
I recommend this product.
