Coconut Cake

I LOVE SWEETS! But, I'm very particular and don't much care for store bought sweets - to include most bakeries! Now, for those of you looking for a coconut cake that tastes like homemade. STOP HERE - GO NO FURTHER! This cake tastes better than some that I had that were homemade!

The best coconut cake ever!!

This cake was so rich and moist, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! I gave some to my mother and sister and they LOVED it. (My sister doesn't even usually like coconut.) Super cake, Paula! May I have the recipe:) It was delivered in geat shape too..just like from a bakery.

I purchased this cake for my mother's birthday, and it was definitely a hit! The cake was packaged well, shipped quickly, and tasted great! The cake was so moist, and the frosting wasn't dry at all. The cake had so much flavor, and even our non-coconut-eaters liked the cake - now that's something! I would definitely recommend this cake to others, and I would not hesitate to purchase it again. We ordered this cake for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was a huge hit. Quite honestly this is one of the best cakes we ever had. Can't wait to order it again!

Paula Deen Cocoanut cake

I love cocoanut cakes however it's very hard to find a really good one. Always too dry.This is a wonderful cake that I decided to try for Easter (with all my non cocoanut cake loving relatives).Everyone loved it. Not one piece left over.Very fresh.Cheaper than one I was going to order fron William Sonoma-better too judging from the reviews that their cake received.

We took this cake to a birthday party, Everyone loved this cake. It was better then the cake that was specially ordered for this party. That cake was way more expensive then My Coconut Cake.

Paula Dean's Coconut Cake

The taste of the coconut cake was delicious but it was dry. The coconut seemed to have dried out because it wasn't wrapped well. I have half of the cake left in the freezer. May try misting it with water to see if I can breathe life into the dry coconut.

Wasn't as fresh as we had thought it would be. Love Paula Deen so we were surprised that it wasn't up to those great standards.

This cake was so moist and wonderful, we enjoyed it for many days and it was fresh everyday. I would order it every week and share with my friends, by the way my friends did love it also.

I bought this cake for my mom for mother's day. She had been wanting to try it for a long time...ever since she heard a friend of hers talking about it. The cake arrived exactly when it said it would and was in perfect condition. Usually when you freeze and thaw a cake it gets a little stale or mushy, depending on the type of cake, but this one tasted fresh when we thawed it out. It is a little pricey, but it is so good...and my mom loved it! Great mother's day gift!

I enjoyed the coconut cake and I also shared the cake with my mother and father and they loved the cake. The only downside to the order was the price for shipping and handling so I will probably not order this product again. I was willing to pay the s&h just to get a chance to taste the cake. Coconut Cake Blows Us Away!

I orderd the cake for my Mom's Birthday. It arrived so quickly! When Birthday Day/Party Day arrived and I served the cake, we were all blown away by how delicious it was!! Mom was so tickled that I orderd from our FAVORITE- PAULA DEEN! The cake was a tremendous hit and everyone loved it. We also enjoyed the cake for few days after the Birthday Party. Coconut Cake

I have not tasted a Coconut Cake this good and moist since my Grandmother past. I was concerned about the condition I would receive it in. It was perfect. Everyone at my Easter Lunch raved about it. All I can say is, it did not last long and we plan on ordering several more. Cathy from Az.

Too Expensive

I think the price has gone up since the last time I ordered. Although I do think it is a very good cake, just a little too pricey.

This cake was very good and moist.My family really enjoyed it.I wished that it was not so sweet,because my husband is a diabetic and a little dry.Over all it was good cake and is planning on ordering it again.Also the price is a little too high.

I had, originally wanted to purchase a Milk Chocolate Butter Cream Frosted Yellow Cake, with Pineapple Chunks, as a Filling. This was not offered. So, I took what was there. Should, I happen to get more cake pans. I will make my own.

Simple pound cake with light coconut frosting

Not what I expected. Nothing more than a simple pound cake with light coconut frosting. I was disappointed.

Overpriced

The cake itself was fairly moist but the frosting was much too sweet. The coconut did not hold up well, thus the flavor of the cake was much like an a standard vanilla sheet cake.
