the product is very handy when chopping alot of food items. the only drawback is the lip of the handle part, it has a slight opening where the food is scooped up to and hard to get stuck pieces of food from out of there... otherwise i really enjoy it and would suggest to have that part of the item completely closed.

An extra

I bought this along with many other items, and got carried away... I thought it would fit in nicely with all my other stainless-clad items in my semi-gourmet kitchen. But, practically speaking, it's just an extra device that needs washing, so I rarely use mine. The side of the knife blade that I use to chop still works best for me...I suppose if you were to use this comercially and were chopping LOADS of items each day, then it may come in handy...buy for smal, daily home kitchen use, I think it is overkill...

Not well designed

I found that the way it came wrapped in cardboard, made it impossible to pull out all the wrapping from the food taxi. I also have difficulty with the fact you can not clean under the round part which works as the handle. Not very hygienic as food particles can gather up in there and there is no way to get in there to clean it.

Helping Hand!

Perfect to transfer chopped veggies quickly & efficiently. I use large, heavy cutting boards on an island across from the stove top and it is not practical to move them back & forth. Takes a little extra work to clean under the handle.

Very helpful

I am happy with this tool; it makes moving food (vegetable, onion,...etc) from cutting board to cooking pot/salad serving dish easier. I used it 4 times. It leaks sometimes (especially the tomato), but still better than moving food on plate or cutting board. Good size and easy to clean. I will buy one for mom.

Scoop du Jour

this gadget is balanced, has high sides to hang onto chopped items while moving & is just as handy as can be. i got it for my 15 year old son to give me for my birthday & my 2 married daughters laughed at it. then they saw how i used it and now want one each. at this price point they will get them as gifts soon. i saw one in use on a food network show & thought it would be useful. this particular one is best quality i found - stainless steel! - and works just as it should, letting nothing escape. recommend highly.

being arthritic I am always looking for things that make my life a little easier this is one of those things.

Makes picking up chopped veggies easy.

I needed something to pick up my veggies once they were chopped up. I like the Steel Prep Taxi. It also looks good in the kitchen with my other Stainless Steel. Try it you may like it.

I purchased these for my daughters and me. We all loved them. The funniest comment made was "I guess the dog won't like these as I won't be spilling food on the floor as I take it from the prep area to the stove!" They are nice a nice quality. I only regret that I didn't buy one for my son in this order. He may steal mine yet before he goes back to college.

Slick and Neat

I really love Chef's Planet tools/gadgets . Was sure I would like the Prep Taxi and ordered 3. 1 for home, 1 for work (Cook) and 1 for my daughter. They have all been put to use and I am delighted. No spill, no mess and cleaning it is a snap. As in the title "pretty slick". Thanks for having Chef's Planet.

Since Ive had a bad experience with my two stockpots I really dont know how she could go wrong making a prep taxi. Quite disappointed with her products

I have two. I use one for vegetables and one for diced, chopped up chicken and/or bacon.

Love this gadget. It's handy to carry my cuts from the board to the pot! Nice addition to my kitchen.

Less Steps to the Stove

It shortens the steps to the pan on the stove, I was using the blade of my knife and large amounts of chopped up veggies, took a few trips - plus I would drop a few pieces on the floor along the way! Great gadget - I looked everywhere in stores around here for it and no one carried anything like it - good job Food Network!

I have wanted one of these for ages. It is so practical to be able to scoop up chopped vegatables in a minute. It is good quality, heavy stainless and I am totally satisfied with this purchase.

The Best Prep Taxi!!!

Besides being nice and wide...having the sides on the prep taxi makes transfering foods from the cutting board to the pot super easy and not at all messy!!!
