    Professional at half the cost

Other immersion blenders that I found were twice as expensive as the Calphalon. The Calphalon is just as efficient, quiet and sturdy. An excellent value.

    Just what I asked for...

    by Dean, MA
    January 4, 2012

I wanted one of these for a while and this one was perfect with all the extra attachments. I love the ability to chop nuts, whip cream, and blend soup all with one tool. I did not like the " mashed potatoes" I tried to make. They were very gummy and gooey. My Soups turned out great though!

    New Blender

    by Scott, TN
    November 29, 2011

We have found the new immersion blender to be very useful, and are using it almost every meal we prepare. Our only complaint is it is noticeably noisier than another manufacturer's model, however it cost more than twice what yours retails for.

It turns at to high of RPMs so if you are using the wisk it may throw ingrediants all over the place

    Love this hand blender!

This is great! It blends everything. I have not yet tried the other attachments, but the hand blender even pureed pieces of ham in my soup flawlessly.

    Blender

    by Rick, CO
    November 8, 2011

Just got this last week, put it through the dishwasher and used it yesterday for the first time. Made a chicken salad sandwich for my 16 year old grandson. He said it was the best he'd ever had. Think it had something to do with the blender! :)

    A great puchase

    by n., PA
    February 7, 2012

I bought this immersion blender because of the removable plastic shield to protect my teflon pans.
Cooking .com also offered a discount.

I have used this hand blender several times since I received it last week.
    It is wonderful!
I have made 2 soups, barbeque sauce, chutney and chopped tons of fresh vegetables.
The handle gets warm under the stress of mashed potatoes, but no problem yet.
    The whip was awsome also.

Now I will be buying one for my dtr in law - one of the kids accidentally broke her glass blender jar over the weekend!

This works greatfor such a small blender. Smoothed out the homemade applesauce in no time. Chopped onions in a matter of just a few seconds. Great little blender!

I have only used the blender part once since I got this but it was powerful in blending a vegetable soup. the whisk and the chopper look and feel sturdy. I think this will do well for me.

I just love my 3 in 1 Immersion Hand Blender! I am retired and love to cook. The nest is empty now, and just 2 to cook for. No need for hand mixers, choppers, blenders, food processors, etc. Wonderful addition to my kitchen. And it doesn't take up a lot of counter space.

    Pricing

    by Michael, NV
    February 24, 2012

I think the 3 in 1 Immersion Hand Blender is a good product but it was very over priced. It should have been priced at $40 or $45 at the most. Another example is Racheal Rays garbage bowl. $20...........REALLY

    Immersion Blander

    by Valetta, GA
    July 1, 2012

When I first heard about immersion blenders, they seemed too good to be true. Since my purchase, I have given my standard blender to the needy and scratched a food processor off my wishlist. Calphalon's has exceeded my expectations!

    Love it!!!!

    by Tina, VA
    August 29, 2012

I got this in and used it right away. I love that it doesn't take up much space and I can get rid of my blender/processor. It took up alot of space. The shakes I made were yummy. The kids keep asking for more.

Got it for the Emersion, but I like the option of using it for other things. I have not used the chopper yet, as I have 2 food processors, the whisk is great for egg whits and whipped cream.

I liked this one over the other two I reviewed because I liked the attachments. It's a very useful tool and easy to store.

    power button

    by Andrea, TX
    April 25, 2013

I thought it had an on/off button, but you have to hold the button to keep the appliance on. That is the only problem with this blender.
