This line of knives (Gourmet) seems a little thinner than the Classic that I already have, but I am not sawing logs, just veggies. It does the job great, even cuts through tomato skins with a swoosh!

I purchased this paring knife to round out the 8 pc set that I currently have. This knife performs really well, however I did notice that it wasn't as heavy/sturdy as my 3.5 inch paring knife that came with my 8 pc block set. That is the only reason why I rated it a 4 instead of a 5. Whoever purchases this knife will be pleased with it.

Paring knife received by the promised date. It looks exactly as pictured. Although I have not yet used it, it should perform exactly as expected and last for years.

I own a set of these knives and had to replace this one. It is a bit lighter than the rest of the set. I think it may be the lower end of this product. Nevertheless it is a very nice quality knife for the price.

These are light weight in size but heavy duty in performance. I chose them for fit in my hands, which are small. They are easy to use and hold the edge longer than any other knives I have ever used. I got some of these knives as gifts, been married 47 years and use nothing else!
