The pusher is VERY disappointing, and the grinder was very slow to grind up cooked tomatoes- changed blades but still messy operation.

works great saved a lot of time making spaghetti sauce 75qt.

KitchenAid Accessories-a good buy

Got the 3 piece accessory pack with the slicer, grinder, etc. My mom had purchased just the slicer option direct from KitchenAid and paid almost as much as I did for the 3 piece accessory pack. I love these things. It makes making coleslaw, ground meat, sausage,and jellies so easy. Well worth the price and then some.

wonderful accessory

I haven't used it yet, because my family and I are on a cleanse and weight loss program at the moment. I expect to be off between the end of December or the begining of January. We're so please with the results. Then I will use these wonderful accessories that I purchase and the next set that I'm going to order which is the pasta attachments. I'm an advid foodnetwork viewer and collector of recipes and can't wait to make some of my favorite dishes as soon on the shows.

None of the attachments work weel. The shredder clogs up. The slicer does not slicke but pulverizes. I am very disappointed> I expected much better quality from Kitchen Aid/

Solid Accessories!

I consider myself a semi professional cook/baker owning a small business doing jobs by referral out of my home. I purchased this attachment bundle for a 600 series stand mixer. I'm very pleased with the craftsmanship of this product; parts are solid and heavy duty. I have used it multiple times so far and find it easy to use and easy to clean. Has not failed to do any job yet, it is quick and efficient. KitchenAid is the first small appliance brand I turn to!

Some items I've processed:
Grated 10lbs extra sharp cheese at one time, carrots. Sliced cucumbers cleanly without pulping them. Used meat grinder to rice potatoes, make apple sauce. Juicer is great for soft fruits, however handles carrots, etc

Excellent Value

The accessory pack is an excellent value for the price. Many retail outlets have the package for much more. What a great set of accessories for any KichenAid mixer!

Too expensive for items you won't use!

If all you need or are looking for is a high quality mixer, you do not need this attachment accessory pack. Do yourself a favor, spend a few more dollar and but a KitchenAid food processer. That's what you really want anyway!

Great fun for the money!!

My family was so excited to receive this pack!! The first night we made cucumber salad with the slicer(wasn't my favorite slicer seems to shred more than slice) but the next night we used grinder for beef chili and it worked great. It was a little tricky to use at first but ground meat just fine. Give it a shot!

best for the price

got the accessory pack before i bought the mixer but have used both the mixer and pack in commerical kitchens which is the reason i bought them both and the glass bowl should some meringue that cant be beat

I have been looking for a better price on this accessory pack for a long time. The same pack on KitchenAid.com was $45 more. This is a great value.

Great to have for a KA

This was the best price I'd found on this accessory pack - AND they were the accessories I specifically wanted.

the slicer shredder worked alright did waste some food. not quite as i was hoping. not like the good old salad shooter.

the meat grinder work pretty good will take so getting use to.

the strainer worked perfect.. almost the only reason i am keeping the whole pack

This attachment is awesome.

It grated potatoes like a pro. Haven't tried the slicer yet but I'm sure it will work great. I got it mainly so we could grind lean meat into hamburger. I would highly recommend this product.

did not come with food tray

I am pleased with this accessory pack, but mine did not come with the food tray, and i had already mailed in the upc code and threw the box away before I realized. make sure all pieces are there before you throw the box away!

Mixed Review

I got my wife the KitchenAid Pro bowl-lift mixer last year for Christmas. She uses it all the time so I wanted to get her the accessory pack.
Food Grinder -- worked great grinding meat.
Slicer/Shredder -- she didn't care much for the results and preferred to do it by hand. But she doesn't like using a food processor for this either.
Strainer -- haven't used yet but we do a lot of canning in the fall.
Overall, the pack seems well-built and also seems to do a lot. When things warm up and the garden gets going, we'll probably use it a lot more. I think the price for the pack is much better than buying piece-by-piece, even if I wouldn't have purchased all the pieces.

Love my new blender, haven't used all the attachments.

Other Attachments

The grinder has only two discs which produce a course and fine grind. However the same pieces provided with a hand grinder are not included in the Kitchen Aid pack.. I grind cranberrys and apples for a salad. The course grind attachment was to fine and the texture of the berries was to fine. Attachments that match the hand grinder parts woulld be much better. I would rather have the hand grinder parts verses the juice attachment that comes in the pack.
