Baster that don't melt.

I was tired of buying new basters made of plastic.
They would melt if you touch the pan on the sides or bottom.
Now I have 1 made of steel that will not melt.

There are two features I like in this product. First, being metal, it is study and will not get soft and loose its shape from hot liquids over time. Second is the cleaning brush. You can always run water through it, but the brush will get rid of tiny particlas that water will not.

I ordered this item when I found my previous tool have become ineffective. Since then, I have used it for several other jobs, including using the Stainless Steel part as a nozzle to empty a waterbed.

I haven't had a chance to use this item, but it seems sturdy and functional when I've tested it and is easy to clean. That was our main criterion for a bulb baster and this fulfills that nicely.

It's a baster. Why do they not work? I haven't cooked a turkey yet since I got this, so I will have to reserve judgment. It seems to work with water, though.

My husband likes to cook our turkeys for Thanksgiving and Christmas on the grill but we have always had problems finding a baster that won't melt until we purchased the Norpro Stainless Steel Baster. It works great is easy to clean and won't melt. We love it.

My old bulb baster (plastic) died over the holidays and I was looking to replace it with something better, including sturdier. This baster is perfect! The cleaning brush and the injector attachment are added bonuses to this product. Dishwasher safe, too.

I definitely was not expecting a stainless steel end I thought it was plastic and I was surpise to get a brush to clean it with, you don't find that type of sets in stores. Thanks FoodNetwork!!!

Basters are surprisingly scarce. After I melted my plastic one, I decided to get this metal one. It's okay. You can't see through it obviously and you have to be very careful not to scratch your non-stick pans. But until someone invents one with a silicone tip, this is workable.

This is a great product. I own a plastic one and it is very hard to clean. The SS is much easier to keep clean after use. It is important that this item be clean.
