Have trouble keeping the suction even for a smooth sucking up of juices. It is a good idea having the needle to put the juices into the meat, but the suction blub is not as good as on the plastic basters.

Would purchase product again.

Very good baster. I was switching from the old plastic one and this one is a very welcome change.

Durable, high quality material. A replacement bulb should be made available. . .it will be the first component to fail.

Baster does good job

I particularly like the steel tip that lets you puncture the skin and baste IN the meat. I've only used it twice though, and I hope it doesn't rust over time...

This is by far the best baster I have ever seen. It is sturdy and easy to clean and easy to use.

Stainless steel baster.

Have had a stainless steel baster for years, rubber bulb finally deteriorated and need to be replaced. Prefer stainless steel since it won't melt if tip accidentally touched to side of hot roasting pan.

The best baster ever

This is the best baster ever. I've tried several of the cheap store bought ones but they were plastic and I could never get them clean. This one is awesome! The top comes off and it came with a brush which makes it so easy to clean. I love that it also came with an injector needle that screws onto the end! What a cool idea and for the price, you can't beat it!

Great Baster

I love this baster. Sucks up plenty of liquid. Cleaning is easy with the brush that comes with it.

The bulb on the baster is black, not yellow as shown in the picture. It is very difficult to re-attach after cleaning. It seems flimsy and makes the baster hard to hold. I was expecting better.

Stainless steel tube is *very* sturdy and needle is sharp. Brush is ok but should have been a little longer. Black rubber bulb is a little thin but has good no-roll design. Putting bulb back on tube straight takes a couple of tries.

I've tried many basters over the years, and ended up throwing them all out. They all worked poorly, so I ended up using a spoon. Aside from not sucking up any juices the plastic tube models were hard to clean and the glass models were fragile. After reading reviews on this product I decided to give it a try this past Thanksgiving- This baster performed well, cleaned up well, and hopefully will last for a while... I don't think the rubber end can last forever, even if the rest of the stainless body will... but you can't beat this baster for the money (I paid aprox. $8 for mine), a great deal as I priced similar basters for over $25! The only downfall is you don't know how much juice it's holding because of the stainless body - a minor concession since it worked flawlessly.

This is great! This should last alot longer than those plastic ones I've been buying over and over again.
