Bamboo is my favorite choice for wooden utensils -- extremely hard, resistant to heat and steam damage. These go even further and include a nice coating that makes them dishwasher safe (a good thing, since I've ruined many a wooden utensil by leaving it in a dirty sink until it mildews).

love these bamboo wok tools and have used them for other cooking too. Wooden spoons are my favorite tools and so these are just as good or better. My husband made me a mesquite spoon years ago...I still use it. They are all within reach of my stove. Thank you for a great product.

Outlasts all others!

These are the best wooden utensils I have found. The burnishing of the wood prevents them from drying out like some of the others I have used. When I received my order, all of my other wooden utensils went to my yard sale!

This bamboo spatula is my absolute favorite cooking tool. My husband accidently ground up my former bamboo spatula in the blender and I had searched high and low for a replacement.

It's very useful and helpful for my pastry department where I work at The Peabody Orlando. My Chef wants me to have very fine desserts for all functions at the hotel. Thank you... Don Gaul

Good for Non-stick Pans

by Bruce, WA
September 15, 2008

These work great in non-stick pans. Nylon eventually breaks down and will melt along the leading edge. These will not damage non't stick sufaces and are impervious to high cooking tempertures. They work better than silicone if you need a ridged working edge, for example when breaking up bulk ground meat.

Bamboo; it's lighter, stronger and easier to clean than any wood. Here are three useful, everyday shapes. The burnished coating prevents absorption of water, flavors, splintering, and makes clean-up the easiest. However, I would never put any woods/bamboo in the dishwasher. This set is very easy to like.

I bought this with my All-Clad wok. It works great. I don't use anything but these Bamboo tools with my wok. I know that these tools will last a long time for me.
