I love this set. I cook fajitas all the time. Not recomended for a very large amout to cook in but , great for a couple or one. It cooked excellent. Also in my opinion this item can last a lifetime with proper care. It also can be taken right off the oven top to your table and looks nice as well.

I am using it with a grill press to re-heat frozen, precooked dinners for my son who is on a special diet. Works great, holds the heat. I bring the skillet right to the table and place it on the wooden platter.
I seasoned the pan as advised in the instructions that came with the product, and am finding it easy to clean and relatively easy to release the food from the surface.
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that they wooden plater is coated with a shellac and it is already flaking. Given that it is a "hot trivet" it should not have been coated (imho).
Great to keep food hot off the grill. Just big enough for a steak and mushroom meal.

Yes | No Report Violation »Very nice heavy duty cast iron with ribbed center to catch excess juices and fat with drain spouts on each side for easy draining. I seasoned the platter before use and it worked perfectly cooking fajitas, draining, and cleanup afterwards. Have only used it once so can't really say what the wooden tray will look like after a few uses but even if it chars its not a big deal my other tools show use as well. Perfect size to place 2 on a 22" Weber grill to sear the meats. Thick cast iron kept meat and veggies hot during our outside fajita feast. Excellent order placement and delivery service as well. Ordered on Monday evening and received in time to season a couple times and for Saturday grilling. Would definately use oven gloves in addition to handle cover when taking very hot platter off the grill. Love it!

I feel like I'm eating at Chilis and they make awesome fajitas. I think it's large enough for 2 people to have plenty of dinner or lunch. Yes I do recommend this

He made Fajita's and I felt like I was at a real Mexican Restaurant. The only negative I had for these is when you wash them they begin to rust. I purchased four of these and some did not rust at all while others rusted a lot. Maybe this does not happen for everybody, but rust after the first use is not appealing.
