The knives are very sharp but they have thin blades that do not go all the way through the handle. These are cheaper in price and construction than the regular Classics.

These are slightly less sturdy that some of the individual paring knives available. Still a good choice for the family cook.

She is not one to change up on the old standbys, but I know she has changed her mind with this set.They are extremly usable knives. She said how come you could not keep my old knifes this sharp? It slices a banana real and other small fruits and items. All are a perfect size!! After seeing them in the stores, the price is more than fair.

When I took one of the knives along to a family gathering, one daughter commented, "this is a really sharp little knife. I like it!" Another daughter latched on to it and has yet to get it back to me. The most recent set ordered was a gift to the daughter who said my knife was sharp. If I ever hope to have my knife returned, I may have to order third set as a gift to the other daughter. Peggy Tutt

The price was great and what I could afford. As with every good knife I own, I treat these with care - only hand wash and sharpen weekly. You could easily pay more, but these are great quality and I was happy to get a better price through food network.

These are a lightweight version of the good stuff. If I had known that, I would not have purchased them. I'm not a happy cook using this set. They will probably reside in a drawer, not in the countertop knife block for everyday use. Am very disappointed.
