With all the scares about plastics, I opted for glass measuring cups by Anchor Hocking which can be used in the microwave with no health concerns! Heavy, but great quality and love them!

It is not known if the visual imperfections in the glass of the 4-cup measure will become stress fractures under thermal extremes. We shall see (5-year warranty). Otherwise, the set is of high quality and should provide years of durable usage. Markings are easily readable with large font size and good contrast.
