I gave the pigtail food flipper to my brother as a present. He is the barbecue king in our family and he just loved it. He said that it was so easy to turn food wether it be steaks, ribs or roasts. I always try to get him gifts that are unique and this certainly fit the bill.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. It is so great I bought 3 more for gifts. Everyone that comes to our BBQ's wants this!! I tried ordering from August to Nov...backordered...so it must be as fantastic as we think!

The box that the item came in was of poor quality. It was made of wood, rough and a poor finish. I expected much more for the price I paid. The item was delayed for several week since they were out of stock. Then when I received it, the pig tail quality ie the handle was not finished well. We haven't used it yet since it is a Christmas gift.

The Pig Tail Food Flipper is an awesome tool for use on the grill. However, now I have to ask if I can have the tools back to use on the grill. It seems she has food use for them for some meat preparation on the range inside, It really is an excellent tool in food preparation.

I bought two sets. One son is a Chef in, another is a cook.
I know they will like the sets very much. I intend to order one for myself after the holidays.
Poor Quality

I was highly disappointed when I received the flipper. The handles on both flippers were not top qualiity. The large one had black stuff and glue over it. The small one was cracked and glued.
This was to be a Christmas gift but was ot up to the quality I expected. Thus, I had to buy another gift for this individual. In addition, there was no information provided by the manufacturer.

I noted the odor of the varnish (?),but expected that because the item had just been restocked. The only problem was that there was a small out turning of the tips, which I will straighten; otherwise, everything was great. The plastic protectors were in place.

I bought this for my husband cause he loves any (bbq toy/ bbq tool). He was very pleased with how they worked. I would like to see more sizes like for pickle jars.

Didn't think it would work, but it does. Remember that the original is for right-handers, so if you're a lefty like me, make sure you'll be comfortable with the switch.

Pro: I purchased the Pig Tail food flipper as a wedding gift for a client who does a good bit of outdoor grilling. I think I made the right choice and am pleased with the box it came in.
Con: The brass clasp on the box was tarnished, but responded to my treatment of rubbing it with salt on 1/2 a lemon. That brought back a gleam!
I am a good cook and enjoy cooking, especially when time allows me to go all out for guests.

Bought this for my son for Dad's Day. He had been wanting them for 2 years. He used them at our cookout immediately after opening them. He's thrilled with the ease and convenience with which he could turn the food. It was as effective with the thickly cut veggies as with the meat items.

I recently ordered the Original Pig Tail Food Flipper for my husband for Father's Day. It came, and without waiting for the day, we have begun using it. It is fabulous! We've flipped ribs, steaks, whole chickens, vegetables--anything and everything. It cleans up effortlessly and stays nice and handy in the box. The only down side this that I have to get him something else for Father's Day!

My husband does the outdoor grilling. He is using the long flipper. He loves it. I used the short flipper inside last night. It turned the chicken pieces with such ease. I love it. Sandy
