Best crocks available anywhere

I searched far and wide and these were the best canisters in terms of being large enough to put a whole 5 lb. bag of flour and sugar and having a wide enough top to scoop a full cup out at a time. The lids seal tightly without being difficult to remove.

ANOTHER GREAT QUALITY ALL-CLAD SET

by Kevin, NM
February 10, 2007

THIS IS A GREAT SET. NICE TIGHT LIDS, BEAUTIFUL LOOK, GREAT CAPACITY. EASILY HOLDS 4-5 POUND BAGS OF SUGAR OR FLOUR WITH ROOM TO SPARE. THESE ARE REGULAR STAINLESS--NOT TOUCHLESS FINISH--SO YOU WILL BE POLISHING THEM UNLESS THEY ARE KEPT IN YOUR PANTRY, BUT THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL. GLASS LIDS SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT IS IN THEM.

Heavy duty cannisters in the All-Clad tradition. They look great on the counter and have tight sealing glass lids that add to their appeal.

Great product! The canisters are large enough to hold flour, sugar, etc. The only drawback is the lids fit so tightly, they are somewhat difficult to remove. But it's not that big of a deal. I also wish there was one more smaller canister to hold salt or baking soda.

Canisters look wonderful in my newly renovated kitchen. They are solid and what I like most about them is that they are large enough to accommodate a full bag of flour, sugar, etc.,so no left over packages to have to store. They also a very airtight so flour, sugar etc are kept fresh regardless of climate.

I was tired of purchasing new canister sets every couple of years so I decided to invest in some good quality stainless steel. These are the best!!!

Full bags of sugar and flour fit into these containers with room to spare. My kitchen looks a lot more put together with these beautiful pieces added to it.

It's The Size

by Robert, CA

Beautiful product, design and mirror finish. Check the dimensions before ordering, they are generously sized. Great tight fitting lids, they could use a anchor point or handle on the canister to assist with lid removal. The mirror finish always needs to be polished after removing a lid.

All-Clad Canister

The only problem is that the airtight seals make the tops difficult for my wife to open.

Love 'em Love 'em Love 'em!!!

I had read reviews of these canisters that said that the seals were extremely tight -- and they are -- so I use a butterknife to gently pry the seals apart, being careful not to scratch the rims of the canister. It's good to know that these can sit on my counter and I have no fear of anything getting inside. I sought these out because I wanted canisters that were made in the USA.

Very easy to recommend this to you!

I had high hopes for these since I was very happy with my All Clad pans but they definitely exceeded my expectations! I love the Airtight seal and sizes they chose. If I had an additional wish, it would be to be able to buy individual additional pieces separately.

All-Clad has done it again! Super bargain and better looking than I thought! Seals really well too! I would recommend to all who are interested in stainless canisters.

I paid too much for these, but they are lovely on my counters. They most surely keep all moisture out. As everyone said, they take effort to open, but if it becomes too much of a problem as age, I'll remove the seals around the lip of the lids.

All Clad canisters

These are wonderful! They have an incredibly tight seal and can be carried by the lid. The canisters are heavy stainless and keep a polished look.

All Clad Canisters

by Sally, PA
October 13, 2008

These have a very tight seal that I was able to remove. The lids still fit just fine. But what I like most is the size. They are large enough to hold even a bit more than a 5 lb. bag of flour and sugar. Since I removed the seals, I don't have to hold on to the sides to get them open, so they stay nice and shiny. Love them!

The other reviewers are correct -- the lids are difficult to remove, since they seal so well. Still too new to figure out if they will ease up a bit, but a butter knife is a good way to break the seal enough to get them open! Look great on the counter. Now, I need to get scoops for each one!

Beautiful canisters

by Connie, NM
June 22, 2011

These are large enough to hold 5 lb bags of sugar and flour, and they are air tight. This makes them a little hard to pull open. The finish is beautiful, but will require a lot of polishing, since it is necessary to grip the canister with one hand while pulling lid handle with the other, thereby smudging the finish with hand prints.

My daughter loved the canister set. I bought them for myself a while back and when she remodeled her kitchen and added all new stainless appliances, I knew she'd love the cannisters as much as I do. And where else would I buy them? At cooking.com.

While the price is more than I might have wanted to spend intially, the quality of the cannisters, and the lids is great. We were having problems with ants in our kitchen until all of our staples were put in the cannisters. The cannisters also look great on the counter.
