I wanted something that would last forever and would not look dated 10 years from now. Loved them the moment I saw them and they look great on my kitchen counter.

And, the oval shape offers some space efficiency. However, also unwise idea of riveting a useless brand tag, especially at the bottom of the canister. The rivets internally are near the bottom, and a cleaning annoyance. Would have preferred a SS top, not glass. Main problem is the whole series is smaller than desired. Drop the smallest one, and add one larger than in this group.
