    • Great Steamer

This is a great choice for a pot that doesn't normally come in a set. For one thing, it's a nice size - 3 quarts. That gives you a good size steamer, which allows you to steam broccoli, a vegetable which takes up a lot of room. Also, the holes in the bottom are a large size, about 1/4 inch wide. This makes it much easier to rinse off the veggies before and after and allow quick drainage. The steamer pot can pinch-hit as a colander because of those holes.

Grab one of these. You won't regret it.

      I recommend this product.

    • Versatile Tool

Bought this to cook pasta but I use it for so much more. I steam vegetables, and even use it to steam buns for hot dogs and hamburgers. Just put the bun(s) in to steam for 30 seconds and they're fresh as new. And warm too! Good for rejuvenating dried out pastries and so much more. I love it.

      I recommend this product.

    • Stack and Steam Set

This steamer is up to the same excellent quality of my other Farberware. I bought my first Farberware cookware in the '70s. I used it every day and was totally satisfied. My only complaint ocurred when the pots were old and the screws in some of the handles loosened each time I used the pots. I see that the new pots have rivets, which is great. One thing I do not like about this new steamer is the bottom has about a half-inch piece welded to it. This means if I ever use any grease (oil, butter, bacon grease), that welding seam will accumulate burned on grease, and I'll not be able to clean it. Bad idea. Most of the new, expensive cookware have these same bottoms. No woman would ever design pots and pans that cannot be kept spotlessly clean!

      I recommend this product.

    • Very nice!

I already have a Farberware pots and pans set which I like very much. I have had the set for about ten years, but it didn't come with a steamer so I purchased a vegetable steamer from a different company a few years later. It is 8qt. and I really was looking for something smaller; when I saw this steamer, it fit my expectations and matches my existing set. I've used it one time, so far, and it worked beautifully.

      I recommend this product.

    • Farberware 3 qt. steamer set

I wish I would have bought a larger steamer, e.g. 5 qt. size, but this works good for me. I have to run two batches of vegs. to get all them done.

      I recommend this product.

    • This is a very good size pot. Great for steaming leftovers and smaller amounts of veggies. The only problem I have with it is that the handles get VERY hot. It would be great if Farberware would correct this issue.

      I recommend this product.

    • I love my 3 qt. steam set

I had been looking at every store I could think of to find a 3 qt. sauce pot, and when I found..online...the 3 qt. Farberware steamer set I was delighted as I have had Farberware cookware for the last 35 years and counting. I got a Classic set first, had it for 32 years and when I remodeled my kitchen, I had found a set of non-stick cookware (also Farberware) and got it - but never got rid of my classic set. I have to say, when I got my new pan, out came the classic set again!! While I like the non-stick, I LOVE the classic set. I was happy to include the new addition to my set and have used it several times since I got it, including tonight's dinner. I just can't cook with anything but my Farberware. I planned to add a few more pieces from the Farberware store at the Northwest Outlet Mall and found it was closed! I was so disappointed!! I am so glad I could get the pan from Betty Crocker website - I can't do without my Farberware!!

      I recommend this product.

Nice pan for the money. We bought this pan in addition to a 10 piece set by Faberware. Like others have noticed, the handles get very hot, but over all we are very pleased.

    • Great inexpensive steamer set

This is a great inexpensive steamer set. I use it almost everyday to prepare veggies for my son. The only draw back is that the handles get very hot, so you will need mits to pick it up. Otherwise it is a great purchase.

    • I've had a set of Farberware for over thirty years and I still love it. I've had my opportunities to switch to All-Clad, a superior choice of cookware, but it's too heavy for me. This little steamer is a fabulous buy and it's performance is great...and it matches my classic Farberward set.
