Crafted in a unique five-ply construction, the cookware contains a core of pure copper that spreads heat quickly and evenly across the bottoms of pots and pans and all the way up the sides. Use it to quickly and thoroughly prepare sauces, reductions, heat or reheat food or cook pasta. Its polished 18/10 stainless-steel pan and lid handles are riveted for extra durability and grooved on the top for comfort. The long handle (holed for hanging on a hook or peg) and loop handle stay cool on the stovetop but won't be harmed by an oven's highest heat, even though it is oven-safe up to 500F degrees. This wide 3qt pan is fantastic, indispensable even! The 'loop' on the opposite side to the handle makes handling great.

I have made do with 1 and 2 qt sauce pans for a very long time. This 3 qt from All Clad is my pan of choice. It handles all jobs with ease. The cool to the touch handle is especially nice. As I find out more about this pan with use, I am sure I will not be disapointed with my purchase.

Hard to figure out at first.It takes so much less heat than the pots I was using.Fine product.
