This is a pan that will cook a casserole when you need to have a cover without using aluminum foil or cook a roast to perfection. I highly recommend this product.

I just bought my second of these pans. Reason? The non stick finish on the first pan is just not quite as effective as it was when new. I bought the original about 2 or 3 years ago. Since then it has been used at least 28 days out of 30. Now eggs don't slide around quite as well, baked dishes require just a little more effort to clean up. But it is such a useful pot on the stove, and not too expensive, I decided to get a new one. I use it for frying, steaming, braising, and baking. It just sits on the stove top between meals, never in a cupboard, so it will always be handy to grab. It's a great size for my wife and me. A larger family might like something bigger. I've often thought a 5 or 6 quart version would be a great addition to the Analon lineup.
