I have been quite pleased with this clay baker. I've cooked a cobbler & a pair of Cornish game hens in it since my purchase. the hens came out moist. the baker cleans up quite nicely. I'm planning to purchase additional bakers for family & friends as gifts.

I am delighted with my new clay baker. I have made several 7 lb chickens in the time I have had it, and they have come out so moist that it is unbelievable. Even my husband, who is a very picky eater, says he has never had a more moist chicken ever. The only drawback to this baker is that it does not come with a cookbook. My girlfriend bought one which came with a cookbook so she is able to make many different things in hers. I bought a cookbook online but am very unhappy with it as it has recipes which are not what we enjoy eating. In the future it would be very helpful to include a cookbook with the baker.

I have always wanted a clay baker and this one is great! Very easy to use and the results are teriffic! My husband loves the dinners cooked in this, very moist and favorful. The shipping was fast and easy. Thanks for the great product and service!

Love the Baker!

I have wanted one of these for about 3 years; ever since my mother-in-law used one of hers to make a brisket. I finally have one! I've only made one thing in it so far - a chicken. It came out very moist and delicious (even the white meat - of which I am not usually a fan because it is usually dry; or at least not as moist as the dark meat).

It says it is dishwasher safe, and as my sone was on cleanup (afterall, I cooked! :-) ) he put it in the dishwasher. I will probably not do that again. The baker was not damaged but it did not come out as clean as it would if you cleaned it by hand.
