Plenty of room for meat and vegetables for a braise. I also have the 2 quart sauté pan, but it is a little small. 3 quart is much better. I have several other pieces of All Clad and am very happy with them.

I use this pan to prepare breakfast items like sausage where covering is helpful during cooking; however the possibilities for use are endless. I would recommend all the All CLAD cookware and this is just another example of the products they produce!

Assist handle is good size and helps find perfect balance when moving pan from stove to oven. Nice depth for any number of dishes. Lid fits nice and snug.

I have a small All-Clad frypan that is so much better then anything I have bought previously. I have been converting most of my pans from nonstick. I wanted a pan with a lid that fits and this one does. I also think the extra handle is so much better when handling the pan if you use it in the oven.

After 30 years of use and abuse I am now replacing my previous pots and pans. A wonderful chef and friend recommended these products and I am very pleased with this saute pan. It heats evenly and cleans up beautifully. I'm sold! Just have to buy over time because they are costly so loved the sale price on this one.

I thought I would start with this pan and if I liked it I would continue to purchase a few others until I had enough pots and pans to retire the old set. I read about different brands and looked into reviews and decided I wanted the All Clad stainless steel cookware. I love this pan and look forward to getting the other pieces I will need to retire my Calphalon. Fantastic saute pan!!
