Strong, sturdy pot holder

by Jacquelyn, NM
July 16, 2007

I needed a pot holder that would not take up a lot of space and would be strong enough to hold heavy cast iron skillets.
This works beautifully.

I have a small Apt. size kitchen 18 by 4. So every time I cook in my oven,
coffee table held all my pots and pans, from (cooking.com) now I display
my p&ps on the wall under my clock. The size is perfect, I bought extra hooks for my large spoons ect. I'm a retired chief so I know my way around a kitchen. The 32-in. Straight Wall Rake by Calphalon is a must for any cook young or old at cooking that is. PS a great price to.

Fits perfectly

This wall rack was the answer to the problem of how to store our non stick pans without ruining the finish by nesting one inside the other. We're limited in space but have a hallway off the kitchen and the rack fits perfectly. The pans don't take up much space from the wall out and they don't rub against the wall. We're very pleased with the rack.

Great pot rack for small kitchen

by Jim, CA
July 1, 2007

Very nice pot rack. Made for apartment or condo kitchen at 32 inches. It has a nice bend to about 2 or 3 inches out. This is nice because it keeps the pots away from the wall. It did not come with hardware (screws), so you have to buy screws. It did come with four hanging hooks. It has room for 3 to four pots. It has four screw holes to fasten to your wall. Easy to install and it appears to be very sturdy going into dry wall.
Nice appearance. Good price.

Easy to install.. Two molly bolts and two set screws and was done. Make sure you're level. Could come with some extra hooks, but other than that. Love it.

Great rack! Fits right over the doorway of my kitchen. With the spacesaver hooks I ordered in addition to the ones provided, it holds quite a few pots and pans.

Review

by Darlene, NJ

I recenlt purchased a cookware set and wanted to hang some pots on the wall to save space in my cabinets and or my oven.....this is fabulous. Not only is it functional, it is very attractive to boot. On a bad note, the screws were not included- not sure why that is, how much more can a few screws cost? They should come with it in my opinion. I think that is something that should be considered as the inconveniece of having to go find the proper fitting screws could have been avoided had them simply came with the product.

This is a great product at a reasonable price. I wish it were a little bit longer to hold more pots, but overall, it's a great product.

I absolutely love these wall racks! I only ordered one at first & loved it so much I ended up ordering 2 more! They are so sturdy & look great. They also have enough clearance in that the pans don't bang up against the wall or each other when you hang them. Really professional looking.

Space saver

I bought this particular pot/pan rack in order to save space in a small, galley-style kitchen. It is perfect for clearing valuable cabinet space and a great way to display that cookware set you spent so much money on...

It works

by Therese, MA
January 17, 2011

The rack works well for 4 12" diameter pans. I like the design and the hooks are solid and hook onto the bar at the top and bottom so they can't fall off the bar when a pan is removed. If you're hanging smaller pans, you might want to buy the extra hooks, but don't bother if your pans are larger. Our kitchen is modest and not updated, so the rack looks fine. I took the advice from another review and used a combination of molly bolts and wood screws. It's okay that the rack doesn't come with fasteners for installation because every situation is different. I agree with the other reviewers that the heads of the bolts/screws look a bit unfinished, but in our kitchen, it really doesn't matter. If you just spent thousands of dollars on a new kitchen, you might want to spend more money. If you're on a budget, though, or only have a 32" wall, this rack is just fine.

Repeat buyer very satisfied

by dave, FL
April 30, 2011

I've now bought 8 of these racks. Good looking, excellent performance, at a price that no other product comes close too.

I usually mount a 2x4 to the wall and anchor it well then mount the rack to it. This provides a strong mounting point and some extra space away from the wall.

The only con I have is that the 90 degree offset hooks are no longer available. This means a few large skillets will fill the rack.
