We have only tried it as waffle mix so far...it was good, but not better than home-made!

Got the 33 oz Original Farmhouse Pancake and Waffle Mix gratus with my waffle iron order. Tried it ans loved its sweet malty aroma and flavor. Just as crisp and nice as the overnight yeasted waffles, but so much easier. Will buy many more canisters of this wonderful product.
Thanks for making it part of my kitchen.

The waffle mix is very good. The waffles have an excellent texture and great taste. Hours after the waffle is cooked the house has a pleasant smell too. I cook the waffles fairly well done and the outside is crisp and the outside is smooth and very professional looking.

This is the best waffle mix I have ever used. The waffles come out perfect every time and if you are health conscious you will be happy to know that it includes wheat/oat flour instead of bleached white flour.

These are the best pancakes I have ever had. They are also the best pancakes I make, due to their remarkable ablity to compensate for my lack of pancake-making skills. The recipe on the container includes adding butter, but as long as you grease the pan, they come out just fine without adding it to the batter -- not too dry. Definite must-try, and worth the money (especially if you're only cooking for two--you can get away with making half a recipe at a time!).

As with all Stonewall Kitchen products, you are buying the next best thing to homemade. I've made pancakes twice and my family just loves them. As the cook I love that I can make the whole recipe in one bowl - no separate bowls for dry and wet ingredients. The pancakes are incredibly fluffy and have a depth of flavor (from the buttermilk and malt, no doubt) that you just won't find in a supermarket mix. Having to add buttermilk to my regular shopping list is a small price to pay for such great pancakes. I don't have to wait until the weekend anymore to make pancakes - these are easy, quick, and delicious.

I just tried this pancake mix for the first time this morning and the cakes were good. I can't say they were the best I have ever had but they beat hands down the other mixes I can find in my local supermarket. Yes, they were better than the Aunt Jemima and Hungry Jack mixes I've tried.

Usually my husband likes to make pancakes or waffles from scratch on the weekends. It's sort of his "thing". What I haven't told him all these years is that they aren't very good. I purchased the Original Farmhouse Pancake and Waffle Mix just to have in the pantry for a quick, easy breakfast treat. The pancakes were light and fluffy with a hint of vanilla. They may have put my husband out of the "pancake business".
