I do a lot of prep work and this knife makes the work so much easier although the smaller size blade takes some getting used to;I usually use the seven inch chef's knife(which I love as well)and have other knives from Wusthof that I have had for years and they have never disappointed me!! This new size is now my "go to"knife for almost everything!! Fits wonderfully in your hand with no fatigue when using.
