This product works great and at a great price. Some have complained about the butter falling out and into the water. All you have to do is make sure it is dry, then SMUSH the butter into the keeper and it will stay. Make sure you keep cold to cool water in it every several days and it will work great. BE CAREFUL THOUGH BECAUSE SOMETIMES IT CAN BE SLIPPERY AND YOU COULD ACCIDENTALLY DROP IT AND IT WILL BREAK. I DID THIS ONCE BUT ORDERED ANOTHER ONE. THE ROUND HANDLE ON TOP IS KIND OF SMALL SO YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL WHEN PULLING IT UP OUT OF THE WATER. I am very pleased with the product and price : )

Great deal on this! I'd been looking for several months for one but all I could find were rather ornate and cost $25 or more - ridiculous. This one is perfect - it holds one stick of butter and will match any kitchen decor.

Porcelain Butter Keeper

The average temperature in my kitchen isn't low enough to keep the butter in the keeper, when I pick up the top part the butter falls into the water basin. A mess, The only way to use it is to keep it in the fridge which is what I was trying to avoid.

I'm very pleased with this butter keeper. It's so nice to have soft butter anytime I want it! The handle on the lid is shaped in a way that makes it easy to grip. It's simple to use, keeps the butter nicely, and is a lot less expensive than most other brands.

I like to keep my butter at room temp so it is easier to spread but in Florida's heat and humidity, it often turns rancid. So when I discovered this, I had to try it. My husband was skeptical at first but now even he admits it was worth every penny we paid for it. Try it, you'll agree.
