Soft Butter Rules

by CYNDIE, SC
August 29, 2007

My new Norpro porcelain butter keeper is simply the best way to have and to hold butter. The butter stays fresh, and is always ready to spread. No more torn bread, or waiting for the butter to melt or soften. Filling it with softened butter takes only a minute and it hasn't fallen out yet. I simply love it and urge all who like soft butter to get one. Cooking.com gave me a fair price and excellent service. Thank you.

No more hard butter

by Loretta, LA

I have fought for years with butter. If you leave in the fridge it is too hard to spread. If you leave it on the counter it goes bad. Now I can do just that leave it set out so it is spreadable but it does not spoil.

Fit and finish seems good. Instructions were easy to understand for those that have never seen a butter keeper before. For larger families the size is a little small.

We are so pleased with this product and this is the second one we have bought. It keeps the butter at the perfect consistency for spreading or for cooking.

Butter Keeper

I've been looking for one of these for a long time! This is exactly what I needed, at a price I couldnt say no to. IMHO...WAY to much packaging from Cooking.com but the product arrived in excellent shape and works exactly like it said it would. I've been known to leave a stick of butter out so it will be soft and have always worried about it going bad. No worry about that any more! May have to buy a few more for gifts.

Butter Keeper

Butter Keeper works well. Nice to have butter that spreads easily. It would have been nice to have some info on the box about how much water needs to be put in the well to keep it fresh, as I don't know if it's just a tiny bit or enough so the butter submerges in it.

I really like this "Butter Keeper". It really does keep your butter cool but spreadable. For all those purests out there...there is no information about how much water tgo use...it will overflow if you put in to much.
