The fact that it is deep is great it keeps the food in the pan when you need to stir and you have plenty of room to add veggies.

I purchased this for my daughter, because I am so happy with a similar puchase I made for myself. I have retired 3 pans since using my pan. It sits on my cooktop ready to go every day. I love Rachel Ray products!
