    Pros - Beautiful product. - Heats evenly. - East to clean. - Requires less heat than previous pan so saving energy. Cons - Handle is too narrow - slightly wider would be better

    4.5 qt. saucepan

    This pan was not available with the 13 piece set I purchased at Macy's. My previous cookware had this size pan and I really wanted another. I was very happy to find it on your website but it cost about 1/3 of the total I paid for the 13 piece Calphalon Tri-ply set I just purchased at Macy's! However, I am very happy with the pan and considered it a long term investment as I know I will get lots of use from it for many years to come. Great quality - just expensive to buy single pieces.

    Best price for this great sauce pan

    I have been looking for this sauce pan for some time but the price was more than I wanted to pay... then I found cooking.com and with it my sauce pan for a reasonable price! I am please with this purchase and love my Calphalon sauce pan. Calphalon is the best and gives me the results I look for in every dish! My Calphalon cleans up easily and looks like new all the time. A great investment for anyone who wants to step up to a better way of cooking and eating. Enjoy.

    Downsizing for a condominium

    I had a large set of another brand of pots and pans for several years and they were good. But when I moved to a condo and had so few kitchen cabinets, I needed to eliminate many to fit my current kitchen. I looked for a good price range and good workmanship for a new set. I was impressed with the small set from Calphalon. After several months using my new set I realized that I needed one more 4qt sized pot when making spaghetti. Of course, I went back to Caphalon. As they say, the rest is history. I am very pleased with this easy cleaning set of fine pots and pans. Thank you, Norm Cashton

    Ideal size

    Had to purchase new cookware for my new induction cooktop. This works well, perfect size for one of the burners. A little pricey, but worth it in the long run. Wanted a pan deep enough so I wouldn't have spill over when I cooked. This works!

    I love this pan. It cooks evenly, cleans easily and has a nice feel to it with a handle that feels secure. I like the clear lid. I have been hooked on the stainless steel and non-stick Calphalon pans (I haven't used their aluminum pans).

    Finally bought good cookware

    This was an item we purchased in addition to a set we had purchased in the same line. I wanted to add this larger sauce pan for when my kids and their families visited. I have been really impressed with this line and my husband (who does most of the cooking) and I are really enjoying this cookware.

    I love my Calphalon products. This is the second series I have purchased--this series because of purchasing an induction cooktop. The pans cook great and clean up easily. I'd recommend the Tri Ply series to anyone cooking with induction.

    Excellent pot

    I am delighted with this sauce pan. I love the weight and even heat. I am replacing a nonstick pot that I ruined with an electric hand beater making mashed potatoes. I am ready to go now with my new pot.

    Had two problems w/2 pans

    Pan 1: First use, boiling water for pasta. After washing up, noticed several pitting spots in the pan's bottom. Second use revealed some rust color at the largest pit. Used Bar Keeper's Friend, no joy. The pitting still evident. Called Calphalon Customer Service... they'll replace it. Pan 2: Last night, pan & glass lid hanging on my pot rack far (6ft) from the stove. Not using kitchen. Heard loud clash while downstairs. Went up to kitchen to find the glass lid had "exploded". Quite a mess. Calphalon Customer Service will replace. Glad I was downstairs! I am still very happy with my purchase. These pans work excellently with my gas cook top and my inductive cook top.
