The separator works great, but being plastic I wonder how long it will last? It was a little pricey for my budget but I bought it because I couldn't find one localy.

This is without doubt THE BEST Separator/Strainer on the market! The large capacity ensures one step straining, and the strainer basket is a handy addition to the separator when straining stock! I love the black stopper in the spout. It keeps the fat from moving into the spout; a clever and simple design feature.

Bought the 4 cup separator probably need a smaller one for times when the amount of liqquid being separated is small.

Better tasting gravy

With the fat separator strainer, it is possible to make delicious gravy with pan drippings. Most of the grease that does not add flavor is removed.

I have owned other separators but this one is the best. The plunger allows no liquid to go in until you remove it allowing the seperation to happen outside of the spout. I love it!

I have been wanting one of these for years and my husband purchased it for me for Christmas. It worked fantastic. I always roast a duckling for Christmas for us and as you know it has quite a lot of fat. However using this product made my gravy just perfect this year. No hard work trying to seperate the fat from the juices. Thanks for making such a good product
