Fat Separator

This is a good product that works well after you let the drippings settle down for a while. I had one before and it was very old so I replaced it with this one and so far I am very happy with the way it works.

I like this gadget a lot. I am looking forward to using it when I make Thanksgiving dinner for the gravy.

I haven't had an opportunity to use this yet, but I can tell just by holding it, it is WAAAY better than my old separator! It is larger, which I love. The handle is very comfortable. I filled it up with water to see what it would feel like and it is just as easy to handle full as it is empty. I love it...thanks!

It was the perfect size in separating the fat from the drippings , so I could get the turkey gravy made in no time at all I love it.

Should have got one sooner

Works great, I am 55 years old and now I get one, what was I thinking. I could have saved myself the hassle all these years. All that skimming the oil off the top of a bowl with a spoon. Now it takes seconds. Don't wait, get one now.

I only used it once so far, but it worked well. The shipping was INCREDIBLY slow. I recommend just finding a store near you that has it and going to buy it there.

A Great But Large Fat Separator

I purchase almost every cooking item we need from Cooking.com. When our fat separator disintegrated, I wanted to get my wife a new one. This separator went on sale, so I purchased it without hesitation. It is a great product and does a wonderful job. The strainer top removes any “chucks” immediately, and by putting the plug into the spout, no fat goes up the spout when you first pour in the drippings. So you don’t get that burst of fat when you first pour out the juice. But be sure you need a 4 cup separator. It is large. It worked great for Thanksgiving when family and friends were over, but it is definitely too large for us to you on a very regular basis since it is just the 2 of us at home most of the time. I am going to purchase another 1-2 cup separator (on Cooking.com of course) and we will save this one for large family/friend gatherings.

Love it!

I had a smaller separator that broke. When I received the new one I thought I would not ever use one so large. With 20 guest for Thanksgiving it really came in handy, it was just the right size that I needed. It cleaned up so nice and the strainer was great for keeping out pieces of unwanted items.

Like any exceptional tool, it does exactly what it is supposed to do, and does it well.

Wife was skeptical but it worked great.

Got this in time for Thanksgiving and as I said my wife didn't believe it would work. The guests were impressed and more importantly the gravy lost no flavor.Defintely recommended!
