  • Great Nonstick Egg Poacher

My Mom used to make me poached eggs, on buttered toast, when I was a child and I wanted to buy an egg poacher so that my family and I could experience this wonderful breakfast again. I couldn't be happier. The purchase was as easy as search, point and click. The eggs came out great and the clean-up was a snap. Thank you Calphalon!

  • Great egg poacher

I have been trying to poach eggs in the microwave and the never turn out right, so I decided to get this pan and it works great. You do need to spray some oil or butter in the little dishes if you want the eggs to slide out easily. If you forget to put on the timer, you can just look through the glass top and see if the eggs are done. Overall it is a great addition to any kitchen

    I recommend this product.

I read all reviews before buying this product. I love it! I rub a little extra virgin olive oil in the cups before starting and the eggs roll out easily and perfect! Nice heavy high quality pan. I highly recommend this!

  • Makes poaching eggs idiot proof

Makes poached eggs in a few minutes. No more using vinegar or worrying about dropping the egg carefully in the water. Just puts some water, spray oil or butter the egg holders and within a few minutes perfectly poached eggs.

    I recommend this product.

  • This is another good Calphalon product although I wish they had offered it in the Unison line. I wipe a little olive oil around the inside of each of the egg dishes and haven't had any problems with stickage that some of the reviewers have mentioned. I also like to use the pan to cook the canadian bacon prior to poaching eggs for eggs benedict which saves me some extra clean up.

    I recommend this product.

At last a product that consistently yields great poached eggs; plus it is very easy to clean. The yolks stay centered and runny making a great presentation.

  • Great egg poacher

I have been using a very old poacher that had a very uneven bottom, but had not found one that was a decent replacement. We looked at all of the ones available on this web site and studied all of the reviews and decided on this one. It works great. The bottom is flat and clearly will stay that way. The egg cups seem to be metal which reflects heat very well. I use cup cake liners so that I don't have to use oil or butter and it is better, health-wise. They work very well and come out easily.

    I recommend this product.

  • Best Egg poacher

I saw this egg poacher on a cooking show. I love poached eggs but never made them at home because of the hassle. Boy does this egg poacher pan change that!! Instructions are clear and easy to follow. You have four poached eggs in less than 10 minutes, works like a charm every time. And the pan itself is a great size, sturdy and looks good in my kitchen. Love this egg poacher. Worth the money!

    I recommend this product.

  • Love it!

I had been looking at egg poachers. I know Caphalon has a newer one that probably holds jumbo eggs. I have heard this one does not fit the jumbo size eggs. I buy large eggs and they fit fine. Also love that you can put the lid on while the cups are in the pan and you can not do that with the newer more expensive caphalon egg poacher. This one made great poached eggs - very happy.

  • I love poached eggs

As with all Calphalon cookware, the poacher is top quality and will hold up under many years of use. The lid fits the 8" skillet too. Bonus! The best feature is the glass lid allowing you to see cooking progress without lifting the lid. I get PERFECT poached eggs every time. There is no guesswork. No matter what nonstick surface used eggs stick to it. When I grease the cups with a thin coat of butter the eggs slide out easily every time. The other "secret" is using the right amount of water; too much and it takes much longer to poach whereas too little might boil off before the eggs are done. About one half inch of water is magic. On a gas range the water boils in less than three minutes giving you a perfect three minute egg in just under six minutes from start to finish. I'm more of a four minute egg person but that is up to individual taste. If you have a large family you might want the one that does more eggs at once. Otherwise you can't beat this product, it's well built, cleans up easily and produces perfect poached eggs cooked to your personal taste.

    I recommend this product.

  • Happy to have an egg poacher.

The egg cups are somewhat hard to get out of the pan when eggs are ready. Wish the handle on the pan were not quite so long. Other than those two things am happy with purchase.

  • Wonderful pan! Couldn't wait to use it.

This pan is as nice to use as it is attractive. Like having brains and beauty. I checked around before I bought from Food Network, and found that it was half the price of other sellers.

  • Value and ease of use

I love poached eggs, but hated to make them AND clean all the parts. BUT, this poacher is so easy to love for its ease of cooking, removing eggs, and cleaning parts. Lift cups with prongs of a fork for an easy sliding out of the eggs...cleaning just as easy. Highly recommend this set.

  • Non-stick coating

Great Pan, but the coating is to rough and doesn't release. If you spray with a release spray, like pam, it works great. If you don't you can't get the rest of the egg out with out scrubbing with nylon scrachy.

    I recommend this product.
