I got this as a gift for my fiance, and he was absolutely amazed by it. It has become his absolute favorite for morning cooking... It's great for poaching eggs, obviously, but it is also great for scrambling or omelettes once the poaching part is taken out... It's such a great buy and I'm glad I got it!!!!

Calphalon Nonstick Egg Poacher

Works every bit as described. Follow the directions for first use...some of the reviewers who posted minor issues suspect they may not have read the directions. I have no cons with purchase. One suggestion to the manufacturer would suggest designing the shape of the cups to lay flat bottom so that poached egg will layer perfectly on an English muffin.
