Easy to use. The pestle comfortably fits my hand and I am able to easily apply pressure to the items I am trying to crush.

I use this all the time for spices, herbs, grains and coarse salts. Very handy to have next to the spice cabinet.

Very small but nice shape and design, came well wrapped and all pieces intact. Some cheaper options out there but wanted the reliability of a Food Network item.

A perfect size for grinding herbs and seasonings. I use coconut sugar which tends to be a bit lumpy. A few seconds later and it comes out just right. A must have for every kitchen.

I bought this for a close friend because he loves to grind his own spices, but didn't have a vessel to use. This is a perfect size! This mortar and pestle set is made of very nice looking marble. It's also quite heavy and doesn't 'walk' all over the counter when you try to use it. As always, from the Food Network store, I am very please with the product.

I absolutely love this mortar and pestle. The weight, color and quality of the marble is superb and the size is just right whether you're crushing a little or a lot. It arrived well packed and in perfect condition.

It doesn't get more basic than a mortar and pestle. This one is heavy and tough and grinds through peppercorns and cinnamon sticks with ease. A wise purchase indeed.
