This product is great. The bowl has a small mouth, but I knew that when I ordered it. I use it for grining herbs and spices together for rubs. I also grind garlic with sea salt as well, it works perfectly! I need to get a larger one for advocado dips, etc. I would buy this again or give as gifts.

I was very pleased when I received my new Mortar and Pestle. It is the perfect size and exactly what I was looking for.

I really like this product, and it's a solid piece of equipment. I find it to be fun to use for small jobs. I would have given a 5 star rating but, I think the handle is about 2 inches too small. Your fingers sometimes feel like they are getting in the way if you are not careful. I would consider this a good buy and a useful kitchen gadget...

Big value on small mortar and pestle

I ordred this for a friend and decided to get one for myself while I was at it. I have used it several times since. On thanksgiving I had a stuffiing recipe that called for dried herbs, instead, I ground fresh herbs with the mortar and pstle. The results were fantactic. Everyone went on and on about the suttifing.

Nice size, not too big or too little. Pestle could be a little longer for a better grip, but it works very well.

You could pay a lot more and get one that was polished up a tiny bit better, but it's still very nice. It's solid and heavy, with a narrow deep bowl.

This works exactly as expected and easy to clean. We had an old wooden one and the marble is so much better. Judy Grieve

Great For Mixing Spices

My wife loves the product because we can enjoy our favorite dish Spaghetti and Clam sauce now. I can't wait to mix my own herbs and seasonings for hamburgers, steaks, and pasta dish.

perfect size & weight

this is all you need in a mortar & pestle. it is great for grinding spices and making rubs. it is a perfect size for a coutertop and is hefty- which a mortar & pestle should be.
