Bought to pulverize my medicines. Works well, BUT the pestle could use a knob on the upper end to make it more compfortable. It rubs a blister on your palm if you're not careful.

Otherwise it is a very handy item. Stainless steel allows me to see the meds, they don't get "lost" like in the porcelain ones.

I am using to crush medication that m y mom who has alzheimers has difficulty swallowing. Most motars are white marble and it is hard to distinguiish between the marble and the medication. Great product I would recommend it to any one.
