I have owned a couple of deep fryers, but did not like them as they always got covered with grease and were difficult to clean. This one is great. It comes apart for easy cleaning with the tub, basket and cover all going into the dishwasher. The vented cover keeps the grease from flying through the air and the drain is really helpful. Add that to the fold up handle on the basket and the even heat for frying and this is a total winner.

I LOVE THIS FRYER WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE FRY BASKET. IT IS WEIGHTED TOWARD THE HANDLE AND DOESN;T SIT EVENLY IN THE FRYER WELL.

This is the first time I have ever owned or used a deep fryer. I was very pleased with the results when I fried some chicken wings in it. There was room for about 5 medium-sized wings and they cooked perfectly without all the splatter and oil residue all over the stove and counter top. The only thing that I found annoying was that I had to wait until morning to drain the used oil from it in order to clean it as the oil was extremely hot. Very handy and worth the price! Highly recommend.

This is so much easier to use than trying to keep a pot on the stove and constantly watching the temp. I have been trying new things more now because of this.
