We've been using a smaller, simpler version of this item for five years or more. This model is larger and while more expensive is much easier to use especially in dispensing the water. We don't usually like a bunch of bells and whistles, but the buttons on the 4-liter pot are easy to read and better still easy to understand. If you want a 4-liter pot, buy this one.

Easy, excellent Coffee

When combined with a French Coffee Press and course-ground, fair-trade coffee, this is, by far, the best way to make a cuppa joe.

Since my husband drinks tea instead of coffee, I wanted a compact yet reliable, easily cleaned and operated, hot water dispenser with a large volume capacity to avoid constant refilling, for him to bring to the office. At first, he frowned a little at the price, but after he used it he couldn't thank me enough for ordering it. He absolutely loves it... and so do all the other tea drinkers in his office (who also thank me on a regular basis)!

Zojirushi hot water dispenser

I love it! I wanted something beyond a carafe that would keep hot water available to me all day for whatever and not evaporating while it is boiled and re-boiled. When ordering, I couldn't picture the size/shape so was a little surprised when I received it. I mean, I know 4 L is the size that it is so shouldn't have been too surprised. I knew it's features, wondered if 4 L might be more than I would need (it seemed a little stout in shape) , but after setting it up in its place on the counter, it has now become as standard an appliance as my toaster. A full teapot to brew at a push of the button, and plenty left for several pots. Preheating my cups for coffee.or tea, or just drinking hot water; need to add hot water to a recipe? There it is...no teakettle boiling, reboiling...no depleting a built-in hot water dispenser, no waiting for the micro a cup at a time. I set it with the timer the night before and a fresh pot is ready in the AM. Zojirushi is a terrific brand, having had a Z rice cooker for years. This is a great product!

Even mom loves it!!

I was concerned that my mom will not like the change from electric kettle but she actually loves it; we all do. I like the seven hour delay feature that conserves on energy so it is not on all night, but ready for you in the morning.

Ideal for small families

This was the perfect product for us after we stopped our water delivery service with hot/cold water dispenser. We had installed a water softener and drinking water filtration system and I wanted something to keep water hot for tea, coffee and hot cocoa.

This unit works great. It heats the water quickly and maintains it at a set temperature. Easy to dispense the hot water and it has nice safety features but may not protect you if it fell off the counter. However the electrical cord is fairly short so it stays away from the edge of the counter. With small children I am always concerned about their safety.

works like a dream

We had an old pump style thermos for our hot water, and it was quite a workout trying to get water out. Not only does the Zo heat up the water for you (I always spilled the water that I had boiled in a kettle when transferring it to the thermos), but dispensing is as easy as breathing.

Its light weight, compact body makes it easy to store or pick up to dispose of the old water.

I only wish it came in more colors; I would have preferred a brushed stainless steel in this size.

The product arrived quickly and was easy to set up. We have used the device for oatmeal, warming baby bottles, and making tea. It has worked extremely well and we have recommended this product to our friends.

We are enjoying the hot water dispensing pot. Being able to regulate the temperature of the hot water is especially nice. I like having tea that I can begin drinking immediately, rather than having to wait for it to cool.

Perfect. Zojirushi makes great product. Just hope cooking.com can carry 3-L. model as well.

Buy the big one. You won't regret it. I use it all day long. High quality product and very easy to use.
o Not a bright eyed and bushy tailed morning person, don't wake singing and dancing? I love having hot water for my Mighty Leaf Tea available at a push of a button. Use for quick miso or noodle soups at lunch. Hot drinks all day long: cocoa, instant coffee, apple spice etc. Saves me time on chores all day, never realized hot water could assist so many daily tasks.
o Take camping, to pot lucks etc.
o End each day with herbal and sleeptime teas.

Very convenient and easy to use. I highly recommend it for those who like to have hot water ready for tea, etc.

This hot water dispensing pot is well thought out. I especially like the ability to set the timer at night to provide hot water for tea first thing in the morning.

addt'l filter is only thing i could ask for..

i love it. i am not sure of the electric bill for use tho' yet..i use it for coffee first thing-with a coffee press and then have tea all the rest!
it has made me really appreciate the taste of the tea-the temps really do affect the outcome!
i would like an extra metal filter included though because if it breaks and it is not the most secure one...then one must order another because there is no store close. so perhaps offering another one up front at a small fee with the idea that it cannot be used without it and what to do if one has nothing close? i would have gotten an exta because of that constriction of use.
but oh my....who knew it could be this good????

Makes life so easy!

I never realized how many things I could use hot water for until we got this device. My husband loves tea and we have ruined our fair share of kettles by leaving them on the stove too long when they didn't whistle. This thing is awesome, and we use it not only for tea, but for mixing our baby's cereal, making instant oatmeal, hot chocolate, Ramen noodles, dissolving bouillon and anything else you can think of that requires boiling water.
We use it every single day and it is by far our most useful appliance beside maybe the coffee maker and espresso machine. We use it more than our toaster! You will love it.

Great product

I got this pot for my sister and her family as a Christmas gift because they are tea drinkers. They love this hot pot ever since then. This hot pot is easy to use and is able to keep water in certain temperature all the time. When I visit their house, I enjoy that hot pot as well. Zojirushi always has great quality of products. Now I am saving my money to get one for myself!

tea in the morning

Its nice to wake up to hot water for tea in the morning. It seems a little weird to have a pot just keeping water hot all the time, but I find a lot of uses for hot water all day. Cooking in a pressure cooker or steamer goes a lot faster to start out with hot water and even those cup of noodle things that used to seem like too much work for a fast snack make sense when you have one of these things.
It also doubles as an alarm clock if you set it on a table touching your bed cause it shakes a little when it boils and I find it gently jiggles me awake when set to 208.

It's great always having hot water for my tea or instant oatmeal!

We replaced an 6 year old 3L Zojirushi with this new 4L variety. I am very pleased with the performance. The new water level window is much easier ot use to check how much water is left. Also, the pump is much quieter than before when it dispenses water. Overall a great unit!

Convenience

Easy to use and safe, well made, family all loves it, for tea, coffee, hot cocoa, cup o noodles and instant oatmeal. Bought a burr grinder and a thermal french press and this replaces my coffee pot on the counter. Pleased with this purchase and the convenience of always having boiling hot water at the ready.
