Customer Reviews

I love these pans

by J Patricia, MA
August 12, 2009

I already had two nonstick skillets by Calphalon but I needed a large one for the times when I make a large dinner in a skillet. These pans work perfectly and they really are nonstick. The only problem I have is that you cannot use anything but a cloth or sponge on them. I guess this is true of all nonstick coatings.

Good pan

by Troy, TN
December 4, 2009

Been buying the cheap stuff for years and replacing every 6 months or so, got old. These are heavy clad and I expect these to last a long time. Cooks well with heat distributed evenly. Will buy again as needed.

I followed all of the instructions prior to first use. When I washed it, I cut my finger on a sharp edge where the handle attaches to the skillet. I used low heat to prepare an omelet - it stuck to the pan.

Definately the "A" Team !

by Russell, OR
July 13, 2010

For years I've settled on the less expensive, inferior skillets. I found this skillet set on sale for the same combined price as the "others" and made the bold move to "upgrade." I use them, on average, 8-10 times a week. They stay flat on the heating surface, they heat evenly, meats brown evenly, sauces don't stick or burn and the skillets clean up with very minimal effort. I am extremely happy with the product performance and the service provided by Food Network. This skillet set represents serious bang for the $$$ !

Calphalon heads and shoulders above the rest

by Louis, GA

Having gone through untold numbers of (even expensive) teflon-coated cookware, I have found a real keeper. Heats evenly and my dishes actually turn out far better than before.

Two Nonstick Skillet Set

by Edward, KS
February 7, 2012

We purchased this set of skillets for our daughter along with a set of matching lids. She has become quite a cook, like her mother, but doesn't have any really nice skillets...until now! We haven' given them to her yet, but have inspected them and can tell that they will be a wonderful addition to our daughter's kitchen.

smaller nonstick skillet

by joanne, RI
May 23, 2007

I think there might be a defect in this product. I cooked chicken breasts, removed them and added wine to deglaze. The liquid started spurting furiously all over me, my stove, ceiling, cabinets.

Another time, I cooked pork tenderloin medallions in less than 2 tablespoons of oil. I noticed that the oil did not coat the pan evenly. Then, when I added the pork, the oil spattered all over everything. I had the heat on just slightly above medium.

Excellent Value

by Elizabeth, GA
October 25, 2007

I found these products to work very well for my everyday needs. The pans are large enough and strong enough to handle just about any type of dish I am preparing. The larger pan is wonderful for those one pot meals I love to plan.

Great versatile pair

by Paul, NY
January 5, 2008

Heavy weight, with strong handles, these skillets do a lot of things well (omelettes, stir-fries, sautes, etc). A good deal on the price, too

Calphalon Skillets

by James, GA
February 3, 2008

The skillets are sizIed for general use. Betweent the small and larger skillet I am able to accomplish most tasks. There are times when I wish the set had included lids, but did not. They work well on the stove and clean easily. Great value.

Two for one pans!

by Richard, AL
March 2, 2008

I think these pans are great. I make cheese omelets using the smaller pan and just turn them out perfect. I made New York Strip Steaks with Sherry Button Mushroom sauce, delicious!

Love the new skillets

by Martha, VA
March 2, 2008

So far the pans are preforming as I hoped they would. Non-stick ease, even cooking, easy to handle the pans. The heat resistant handles are just that. I love using the new skillets. Clean up is a breeze as well.

Nonstick skillet set

by Linda, CA
March 2, 2008

These skillets are a bit on the heavy side and be careful of the handles because they get hot. Cooking with them and clean-up is a breeze. A very good value.

Calphalon Nonstick Skillet Set (2-pc.)

by Rebecca, MI
April 19, 2008

These skillets have proven to be everything I have come to expect from Calphalon - excellent heat conduction, easy clean-up and good looks. I was looking for a sale price on a nonstick Everyday Pan that I needed to replace when I found this set at an unbelievable price. Site negotiation was simple, the checkout process smooth and the set arrived in far less time than the estimated shipping schedule. I appreciated the email notifying me of delivery as I was out of town and I could alert my husband and son to watch for the set to arrive. Of course they had already used the pans before I got back and we all love them. I don't know how the FoodNetworkStore could sell them at such a low price but I sure am happy about it!! Thanks so much for a wonderful product and perfect shopping experience!

Best Skillets Ever

by Michele, NJ
July 10, 2008

I was always skeptical about paying more for a "Calphalon" non-stick skillet. Then this opportunity was available so I thought I would try them. I have since given away all my other skillets. These are excellent!! I'm so happy I took advantage of the offer.

Great skillets

by Karen, AZ
July 27, 2008

I love these pans, they are a quality product. I expected the handles to get hot, but they don't. The largest one is fairly heavy when it is full, but that is understandable considering it's size and the amount of food it can hold.

The pans were exactly what I expected them to be based on my prior experience with Calphalon. They heat evenly and clean up like a dream. And the price was very good.
