Biscuit cutters haven't changed much since Colonial times, but new materials and a tweak here and there have made modern-day cutters, like this handsome set, efficient and practical. This set of four cutters is made of heavy-gauge polished stainless steel and is likely to last a lifetime. The cutters themselves are a generous 1½" deep--it's the depth that sets a biscuit cutter apart from a cookie cutter--and their cutting edges are nicely beveled on the outside. The handles arch 1½" above their cutters, so there's plenty of grip room (cutting board not included).

This set was money well spent. they work great, are constructed well and do what they do well. I recently used one of the cutters and my buscuits rose very well, as opposed to using a small glass and my biscuits not rising hardly at all. I like this product very much!!

Love the assortment of sizes. DH wants bread at every meal, these cutters make biscuit cutting a breeze ... Even if I didn't make them almost nightly, they would still be great sizes for the cookies and such I make when the Grands come to visit...

This came in very handy for all sorts of baking. You can use different sizes to make multi-layered cookies & desserts. Also can use for base of calzones and tart shells if rolled out.

These were a gift for my mother because she makes biscuits several times a week and was using a glass to make them. She absolutely loves them especially the handles. She also loves the ability to make different sizes.

These were probably a little frivolous on my part, but the biscuits they helped yield were absolutely delicious. They were so light and fluffy, and the layers just peeled off one by one.
It was nice to have the multiple sizes, that way you could use as much dough as possible with only one roll-out. This helped make those biscuits so light, I am sure.
