after both my husband & I have broken a handle off of a plastic measuring cup, I decided to go with these. they really aren't that heavy. sometimes I don't have the "steadiest" hand when measuring & the extra weight helps a lot with that. every measuring cup is marked on the inside, like the 1 cup has the 1/2 cup mark on it, etc... there's no way myself or my hubby can break these so I am sure they will last. I use these almost everyday & love them.

They are very heavy duty - almost like mini-frying pans. I bought these to replace a different "last a lifetime" set which didn't. The handles were spot welded on and one eventually came off. It's not clear from the picture, but these cups are one-piece. The handle is not welded or riveted on to the cup - it's all one piece of metal.
The only draw back I can see with these cups is that they are kind of wide, so it will be a little more difficult to get into smaller bags, etc. to scoop out something.That's the only reason I didn't give them a 5-star.
i was pleased with my measuring cups and certainly would buy them again. will make great gifts

There is a line for another measurement on the cups that I didn't see in the picture. So that feature I really like. I want to get the regular round spoons as well.

My one dissenting view was that they weren't made in the USA. I have stainless steel cake pans, cookie sheets, and jelly roll pans...all made in the USA...can't we have good measuring cups made here as well? Sure would be nice! Thank you.

But it still is ok. I would prefer it to smaller in width and have deeper sides. I know they are supposed to be heavy duty, but for being measuring cups they are kinda heavy.

When these cups arrived, they were better crafted than any other measuring cups that I have ever purchased. The accuracy and durability of these cups will allow many uses over many, many years. If I am ever in the need of measuring cups again, this will be the only brand that I purchase.

Yes | No Report Violation »I like these cups because they are well made & heavy enough not to bend when I scoop flour out of the bin, but when I took them out to use them for the first time, I found that they had sent me two 1/4 cups and no 1/3 cup! Will have to contact customer service and see if they will correct this.

I read reviews on this item and they proved to be 100% correct. Their handles are perfectly fitting and comfortable to use. The price is not extreme and very well worth every penny!

Yes | No Report Violation »If you are the type of person who likes to use very small pots on the top of your cooking surface, these measuring cups are for you. They are not the typical stainless steel measuring cups of old; new, high tech and multi-functional is what these are. The picture doesn't show the weight of these babies too well, but keep in mind, they are like mini-pots. Not what I wanted, and I couldn't exchange without having to reorder. Just the weight alone was about one pound.

I have enjoyed using them and look forward to passing them down to my daughter. If you are on the fence about purchasing these they are worth the expense. I would buy them again if need be or as presents for others!

They are wider than they are deep, so they store well. There are only 4 sizes, which is not convenient, but that is why I also bought the much-cheaper OXO set, as well.
Also, Cook's Illustrated magazine rated them as the best, partially because they are one of the few measuring cups that are actually accurate! Many of the more-expensive, name-brand measuring cups are off by as much as 5%!!! This can be crucial when you are doing a lot of baking, especially on a large scale.
I'VE LOOKED FAR AND WIDE FOR A SET OF ACCURATELY MEASURING IMPLEMENTS. I'VE OFTEN BLAMED MY POOR COOKING RESULTS ON MY OWN CARELESSNESS, WHEN IN FACT IT WAS THE POOR MEASURING TOOLS I WAS USING.I COULDN'T BELIEVE THE DIFFERENCE IN THE SEVERAL SETS OF SPOONS.THE VARIANCE WAS FROM BETWEEN ABOUT 1/8" TO OVER 1/2'. THIS CAN PROVE DISASTEROUS WITH CERTAIN RECIPES. THESE HAVE PROVEN TO BE AN EXCELLENT CHOICE. ACCURATE, GOOD WEIGHT, STAINLESS STEEL AND DISHWASHER SAFE. WHO COULD ASK FOR ANYTHING MORE. THANK YOU.
