"In 2007 I met the designers of Ergo Chef at a gourmet show. I used the cutlery on stage during my demo and was given a set to take home. After a year of wear and tear in my kitchen - trust me it can be a knife gauntlet - I was hooked on the quality and design of Ergo Chef’s product. Before I knew it, I was teaming up with them to develop my own collection. We sketched a range of designs lookin’ for the select few that really rocked technically and aesthetically!
I’m a Hot Rod guy who knows that in order to do car-building right, you need high quality performance parts. The same idea applies to cooking, so the right knives are key. 8-in. Big Stick Chef's Knife with Crisscross Crusher: The 8-in. Hollow Ground Chef's Knife is perfect for cutting veggies, fruits and meats with ease. It has a special crisscross knurl on the end to pulverize garlic, nuts, etc.
5.5-in. Dragon Dagger Utility Knife: The 5.5-in. Serrated Utility Knife was designed for slicing small fruits, veggies, cheese, breads and sandwiches. It has fork prongs on the tip to pick up food.
5.5-in. Chopper Santoku Knife with Crisscross Crusher: The 5.5-in. Hollow Ground Santoku Knife is perfect for rocking and chopping fruits and vegetables. It has a special crisscross knurl on the end to pulverize garlic, nuts, etc.
4-in. Lil' Guy Paring Knife: The 4-in. paring knife has a hollow ground blade for less friction and stick, and a tapered tip for extra strength. It's great for peeling and cutting small fruits and vegetables.

These knives are great for someone who enjoys to cook. I have given these as a gift to many friends and family and they all have expressed their pleasure of how well they perform.

I just got my new set of 4 Guy Fieri knifes. The packaging was impressive and each knife comes with a knife guard. I also bought the block so I'm using the guides on other knives. The Fieri knives have a nice balanced feel and a super cool look. I got rid of the huge block I had with all the knives I don't use. The new set looks great on my counter!

These knives are great quality steel, highly balanced, very sharp, amazing design. However, the factory printed labeling on the blades are all off. The edges of the lettering are either double stamped, blurry, faded, or just didn't apply well.

For the price this is a great knife. It is a little larger than I my regular paring knife, but I will probably end up using it more than I expect, just because it looks so cool. The ergonomics are good for me, and I like the way it can be sharpened down the whole length of the blade.
