Whether I'm on the road or in my restaurants, home or studio kitchens, a knife that's off the hook is key. We created a line that meets my high expectations as a chef, and also offers quality, value and a look that's the real deal.
"In 2007 I met the designers of Ergo Chef at a gourmet show. I used the cutlery on stage during my demo and was given a set to take home. After a year of wear and tear in my kitchen - trust me it can be a knife gauntlet - I was hooked on the quality and design of Ergo Chef’s product. Before I knew it, I was teaming up with them to develop my own collection. We sketched a range of designs lookin’ for the select few that really rocked technically and aesthetically!
I’m a Hot Rod guy who knows that in order to do car-building right, you need high quality performance parts. The same idea applies to cooking, so the right knives are key. My product features a combination of the best materials with a design that will blow your mind! As a chef, restaurant owner, and TV personality, I have high expectations for my equipment and these knives meet and exceed all of them."

Very disappointed. When my wife opened them on Christmas morning 3 of the 4 knife's handles had cracks in them. Although we wil send them back it makes you question the quality of the replacements.

    Gragon Dagger Utility Knife

    by Shelley, NV
    August 28, 2012

This is the first disappointing product I have purchased from Food Network Store. I do not like the heft of this knife. I always turn to my other knives first. Also, it is slightly too short for most tasks. I have been using it to cut sandwiches, and slice when I have small tasks, but a cleaver or small chef's knife works better. Because the knife is so short, they should have left off the stabbing tips and given me another inch of cutting surface.

    The haviest paring knife ever.

    by YELENA, NY
    April 11, 2013

This paring knife is too heavy and the blade it too thick, which makes it almost impossible to cut subjects like sweet potato without cutting yourself. I had a really bad cut very first time I was using the knife. I am returning the second one as I bought two of them.

Best Knives i have ever used!

    by Mark, TX
    December 13, 2011

I debated about spending the money on these knives for a long time. Boy I'm mad I waited so long. These are the best Knives I have ever used. I do allot of chopping veggies and with these knives I can do it in less time with great ease. I used to cut myself with my last set because of the way they were. These ones cut so nice with the sharp blade and the balance of them, that I didn't even come close to an accident. If your on the fence about these knives do not hesitate. Get them now!

I live in Malaysia, so I had to have my order sent to my daughter in North Carolina. I ordered two sets, one for her (Christmas gift)and one to be sent to me. I am thoroughly happy with these knives. They are exactly what I thought they would be.

My high school granddaughter is taking culinary in hs and loves Guy Fieri. So, we purchased his 4-pc "super set" for her for Christmas along with cook books. She's so excited about her future career in culinary so this gift is a "dream one" for her. She watches the Food channel all the time and begs for the 2-pc knife set. Can't wait to see her open these gifts!
