best knife set ever

I have just purchased a third set of these knives for my daughter's new apartment. Good, solid knives, and the colored handles help you easily locate specific knives in the drawer, which doesn't have the best lighting

Kitchen Knife set.

These knives are wonderful. They are everything I read about them in the reviews. I love them and might get my son a set. They float in water which is a huge safty issue and I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

Great Little Knives at at Great Price

The perfect set of paring knives - Henkels quality, colorful handles, comfortable grips. Bought these to replace my other Henkels knives, which my husband considers to be alternate electrician/carpenter tools! A great deal price-wise.

Great set of knives

I've had a set for over a year and bought this set for my daughter in law. They are a great set of super sharp knives. I use them on a daily basis. The colored handles are a brilliant idea - now I can locate the knife I need from my knife block easily instead of all the black handles and having to pull several to get the correct blade, Make sure you get the ones with the Two Stick Figures on the logo. Some sets have only one figure and they are not anywhere near the quality of these knives. When they are on sale at this price is makes a great gift for anyone who cooks.

Very comfortable to use, and except for the serrated 'butter knife' crazy sharp. Very precise for paring - now my favorites to 'define' edges for removing centers of baked potatoes being made into 'twice baked' (filled with potato, cheese, bacon and chives), now I can precisely cut everything but the skin from the potatoes - and even if I puncture the skin, the slice is so seamless that I can simply ignore it and fill the potatoes ignoring the occasional cut thru the skins. Excellent for trimming fruit (I grow organic apples and pears, which may have spots to 'clean up') with a minimum of waste. The smallest of these, with the downward curved blade, excels at removing blemishes from fruit and vegies (like the occasional dark spots on potatoes) - just 'spiral in' till no more blemish is visible and don't trim anything that's not blemished. For cheese, I still prefer a large chef knife for uniform slices, although the straight knife does work, it is harder to control for slicing things nearly as wide as the knife. The 'medium' knife is ideal for cutting out the hard center from lettuce and cabbage with precision. The handles have good control and feel like an extension of my fingers (thus the title).

A great little gift

I bought this as a gift. We have a big family with lots of granddaughters and daughters and in-laws and often have birthday celebrations as well as our annual Christmas party. I have read the reviews on these and they were all good. I am satisfied with the quality and the appearance of these little knives and think someone in the family will enjoy them!

A Gift Set

This is the second set of these knives I've ordered. I liked the first set so much that I ordered these for my son who is about to move into his own apartment soon. These will come in handy for sure. Very sharp and I love the colorful look.

One for Me and One for my Sister

I have been looking for this type of paring knife for a long time and could only find cheap ones that didn't work very well, these are sharp and have a good grip. I am older and my grip is not very good anymore. I also got a set for my sister's birthday and she loves them.

Wonderful kitchen utility knives

I have a full set of Henckel 7 star series knives, but sometimes these are just too big for little jobs. Even the paring knives that are a part of the set aren't enough to preventing cross flavoring or worst, cross contamination of ingredients.

This extra set of razor sharp knives did the trick. They are great looking and after using them for a while, you start to know which knife by looking at the color.

These knives don't go into the Henckel block for safe keeping, but I don't fuss over these especially at the wonderful price I got from Cooking.com!
