Great Choice for Knives

When I purchased my first set of these colorful kitchen knives, I was a bit skeptical if they would hold an edge. After I started using them, not only did they keep an edge, their grip was very comfortable and stable. I have bought additional sets as gifts and would highly recommend these knives to anyone.

very sharp, would not have paid full price

any cook knows that a sharp knife is just as important as great ingredients. these knives are definitely sharp and great for small-food. however, even though they are henckels, i would not have paid the original price of $50 and am glad that cooking.com had them for $19.95. the handles are very chintzy and i will be surprised if they last a year through my moderate cooking.

Bright and Sharp

These knives have replaced all my old favorite paring knives. They're sharp and easy to use, plus the colored handles make it easy to grab just the one I want out of the knife block.

Although these knives look like a toy with the coloful handles, they are really a very fine product. The handles are longer than many and easy to hold on to, even for a man's larger hand. The blades are sharp and have held their edge quite well. Thanks for a great set of knives.

These knives are very sharp making slicing & cutting a breeze. The colors are fun & you'll always know which knife is best for whatever job.

Should have spent more...

I should have spent more or expected less at this price point. The knives are sharp and perform well, but from the very first use I've noticed small rust spots. Note to self: towel dry the knives before I put them away.

The colored handles threw me off at first and I kept by-passing them. Don't let the colors fool you, they stand up to thier name. Excellent quality.

We use at least one knife from the set every day. You'll have your favorite for most tasks in a very short time. I just purchased a set for everyone on my Christmas list before the price increases. The set we have still looks like new after using them everyday for a little over a year. Uncle Roger

These knifes are great. They are super sharp so be very careful.. I even put them back in my drawer so someone doesn't get cut. They are perfect for any type of fruit or vegetable cutting or even cutting through the mesh that is on some meats. So far they have held up well to my cooking tactics. They are also very pretty and bright!
