These knives work. I like the colored handles because I know which
one to reach for when I want to cut different items like onions or toasted bagels. They are an excellent buy. I bought a set for my daughter, used them, and then bought a set for me.

Paring Knives

I've been looking for new paring knives for sometime, and these fit the bill. In fact, I cut myself the first few times I used them! The smallest, with what I call the "bird beak" blade, can be deceiving...use with caution! I guess I waited too long to replace my old ones. A great value.

I am very satisfied with my purchase of the Henckels knife set. I like the fact that they are VERY colorful, easy to select out of a drawer-full of kitchen gadgets. The quality is excellent. I bought two sets of these knives for gifts because of the brand name of Henckels and the reputation of their products. I was extremely disappointed that these knives came in a plastic and cardboard package like a cheap set in a grocery or "Dollar" store. I was too embarrassed to send them as gifts, so they are sitting on my counter waiting for me to decide what to do with them!

Great set of knives

I've had a set for over a year and bought this set for my daughter in law. They are a great set of super sharp knives. I use them on a daily basis. The colored handles are a brilliant idea - now I can locate the knife I need from my knife block easily instead of all the black handles and having to pull several to get the correct blade, Make sure you get the ones with the Two Stick Figures on the logo. Some sets have only one figure and they are not anywhere near the quality of these knives. When they are on sale at this price is makes a great gift for anyone who cooks.

Very disappointed in the quality of these Henckel knives. There are very cheap, stamped steel. Also, the handles are too long and them unbalanced and akward.
