I am sure the Henckels blades are fine but the plastic handles nick easily and already (after a couple of weeks) seem worn.

Versatile, Durable, and Good Price

The knives are quite sharp, a good size, and are holding up well to kitchen use. I was more pleased with these than I expected to be. The shape of the each knife has unique advantages that make them ideal for different jobs (for example, the knife I use to peel a kiwi is different from the knife I'd use to get fat off a chicken breast). And I was extremely pleased with the bread knife (red handle) -- it gets used the most, and was the one I didn't expect to use at all! Also, having three paring knives all at once is very handy for larger cooking jobs, since you don't need to use the chicken-covered knife for chopping veggies.

Love the different colors as it makes it easier to determine which one to use. Knives are sharp and are a pleasure to use.

I originally bought a set for myself and liked them so much my daughter is getting this set for Christmas. The blades are nice and sharp, something I expect from Henckel's, the handles are a nice size and easy to hold and the colors make them easy to find in the drawer. The different lengths and sizes make them perfect for all smaller cutting jobs.

For some unknown reason, with the first two purchases the yellow and green handled knives just simply disappeared. Someone else must have really loved them, too. Now they are displayed in a knife holder on my counter in plain view where I can keep an eye on them. They are so handy and stay sharp. Great items to have.

Great price!!! We use them everyday. In order to avoid water spots and rust, it is best to wash and dry immediately after use ......but they're worth it!
