These Heavy Built Pans Set Very Good on the Stove Burner And No Warping Of The Bottoms Of The Pan Surface Has Been Very Good With No Sticking Of Food.

Can this skillet get any better

I love the Unison cookware already for all its wonderful features, but the skillets do not come with lids. It was perfect to receive your email offering both and I was so pleased that I have already gifted them so that I can get another set.

Great pan

Solidly constructed. Takes a while to heat up, but becomes a dream to cook with after that. That solid construction holds the heat. Be careful with the burner, because should it get too hot, it will hold that heat and possibly degrade the meal. The well sealing lid is a big plus too.

Finding lids

Sometimes it is difficult to just buy a lid. So when I started looking for see through lids for my old Calphalon cookware, well I looked a long time and then one day... there were 2 for the diameters needed for a fry pan and stock pot. Wooo Hooo! They are Calphalon too! They fit, do the job I want (see how the cooking is progressing since I'm semi-unattentive) and I'm a happy cook.

Good value when on sale

We bought the sauté pans and we love the pans! But the lids must be purchased separately. They are lids--what else can I say.

Excellent Lids

Nice tight fitting lids for the skillets. I didn't think I needed them with my other Calphalon lids but the are perfect.

Lid Set

Love the 10 inch lid but the 8 in is too big for the 8 in omelet pan.

Calphalon Non-Stick Fry Pans

Having used Calphalon pans for the last 20 years, it was an easy choice when it came time to replace the everyday 8" pan. This set of 8" and 10" was perfect because it added a larger pan to our collection. Both are performing wonderfully with no sticking whatever and that is exactly what I needed.

Nearly perfect

We have had these pans for a couple weeks or so and have found a way to use them almost every day. The surface is truly non-stick. The weight of the pans are comfortable in the hand. The heat up evenly. They would have been truly perfect, but the 10-inch pan has a 1 cm imperfection in the non-stick surface on the side of the pan. It it were on the flat part I would have returned it. So long as this imperfection on the finish of the inside of the pan doesn't spread, it's just not worth the hassle. Aside from that, these are the best pans we have ever owned.

Completes the set

I was not sure that it would be worth the expense to buy the lids separately, but now that I have them I find them very useful. The ability to cover a dish and watch it simultaneously is quite helpful. If you are on the fence, get them.

Right size for a three-egg omelet

Nice skillets. Substantial (even heating), easy to use. The 8 in is the right size for a three-egg omelet. The 10 in is a little too large to use for omelets, but it is right for braising. I bought the two-skillet, two-lid set as a package, good price. I just started using them, so I cannot comment on the durability of the non-stick finish, but it worked well on the first few uses.

Great set for the price, easy to clean. Love having these for the frying pan set.

Should have bought these sooner

I bought these to replace old scratched up ones. They are terrific. Just as the site stated, very little butter to get wonderful results.

Excellent cookware and gret price

I bought my original calphalon anodized aluminum cookware in 92 and it is still going strong. I decided to up grade to the unison cookware for the searing capability and am completely satisfied. I plan on upgrading the rest of my omelet and frying pans to unison eventually.

Finally found lids which offer a great fit for any pans this size. Love the weight as well. So hard to find this size too so I would say to buy these for sure.

I now have six of these pans. I have also given two to a cousin. These are the very best pans I have ever owned. The fact that I can put them in the dishwasher was the initial encourgement I needed, but after using one a couple of times, I realized I want the entire line. Keep up the good work.
