Inferior Quality from China

Initially, I thought I received a defective product. The ceramic pot was warped and, for the price, the overall quality seemed poor. The lid did not fit properly and left gaps which would allow the heat to escape. I returned the product for replacement only to have the same issue with the second one. I thought I would "give it a whirl" to see if this hindered it's performance. When the sticker would not come off and left a glue residue that was not easily coming off, I hung it up and returned the product. It may have worked but, for the price, I was very disappointed in the quality. I then had to pay for return shipment because of "Buyer's Remorse". OK, Company Policy and all, but again, disappointed. If you expect an above standard, quality slow cooker, I can not recommend this product.

This Calphalon Slow Cook cooker is fantastic.Great size for 2-4 people,even heating.My internet stew recipe was awful but it turned out tender and perfect in the time set.

This slow cooker is exactly what I was looking for! It is the perfect size for a single person or small family with all the features usually found in much larger models. I like the ease of the removable crock for both serving and cleaning. The glass lid lets you see how things are going without disrupting the cooking temperature. Soups and stews will be a breeze this Fall and Winter! I am very pleased with this item. It looks great on the counter when not in use and is then easy to program and use when I am ready to cook.
