    It really is non-stick

I love Calphalon and have had difficulty locating pots in the sizes I require. They are truly non-stick and so easy to clean. I highly recommend them.

    4 Qt. strain pot

    by Linda, NV
    June 5, 2013

I'm replacing a similar pot I bought a few years ago that I dropped and bent. This was just like it other than new style handle and the strainer lid. It will be handy since I used to pour things in a colander, and now I can keep from dirtying another dish. The other pot was my go-to for everything and I really missed it, so I'm very happy to have this one. The only downside for me is that this strainer pan seems a little heavier. I know heavy is good in pots, but I have problems with my hands. Most people would love that feature too. I hardily recommend this.

I purchased a small pan several years ago and liked it so much that I bought a set. Best cookware I've ever had - and I've had some really nice cookware. I recommend Calphalon highly! When I ordered the 4-qt. pan, I got it within a matter of a few days.

    Perfect size and features

    February 13, 2013

We already owned a set of Calphalon pans. Our 2-qt and 6-qt get a lot of use. We needed something in between. My wife loves the pour spout and the 2nd handle.

    Great for making popcorn!

Although this pan is designed for many uses, we have found that the vents in the lid are perfect for popping corn.

I had used a set of Calphalon while visiting my daughter and knew that this was the set I would be getting to replace the 35 year old set of Club Aluminum that we had gotten for our wedding. I purchased the 12 piece set earlier, but needed a 3 or 4 qt pan to complete it. The 4 qt Pour and Strain is the perfect size and the straining part is a bonus.

    Gift for mom

I bought this pan as a Christmas gift for my mom. I took it out of the box when I got it and it seems like it should be a good quality pan.

    Love the straining ability!

    by Carol, IA
    November 25, 2012

This pan is by far the best I've used for convenience. Not only is it terrific for straining (after boiling veggies or pasta) but it doesn't boil over either. Clean up is easy and the handles dont get overly hot. Very good product.

    Affordable quality

    by Beth, TN
    November 17, 2012

I've landed on Simply Calphalon as my prefered cookware brand - it gets me the quality I desire at a price I can afford. This pan is the newest addition to my collection. Overall, it's a great pan, and the design idea is a good one. My one reservation with the idea of a lid that can also serve to strain the contents is that with a pan this size, you really do need to hold it with both hands - which means securing the lid for draining becomes a bit of a challenge, ideally requiring a third hand. I think the work-around will be to use hot pads for each hand, and use both thumbs to hold the lid in place while the other fingers hold the handles. Additionally, because of the drain spouts on the pan and the way the lid fits into the pan, you don't get quite the "seal" on the pan you would with a more traditional design.

    High Quality Cookware

    by George, FL
    October 16, 2012

Having looked around at several different manufacturers' products, we settled on Calphalon for a number of reasons. Chief amongst them were: high quality finish, excellent price, and a broad range of different sized pots. So many times nowadays, you go to a big store and all that they sell are boxed sets. Yes, the value is good, but it restricts you in what you have to work with. By buying direct from Calphalon, we got the best arrangement: a great range of pots, high quality, and a great price. We purchased nine non-stick pots from the Simply Calphalon range and have used them for a couple of weeks now and have found them to be sturdy, easy to hold, and very easy to clean. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the purchase and will have no hesitation in coming back to Calphalon for future purchases. Needless to say, they are highly recommended in our opinion.

    Great Pasta Pot

    by Jeffrey, CT
    September 26, 2012

No need for a collander with this pot - the strainer in the lid does the job very nicely. A well-made pot that heats quickly, and the clear lid lets you see when the water's reached a boil.

Beautiful pan and the pour and strain feature only enhances the value. Great for soup, pasta, gravy, sauces and the list goes on. Such a great pan I own two of them. Do not pass up such a great value. Cleans like a breeze too.
